JADE My eyes fluttered open as I slowly stirred up from my slumber. The bright rays of the sun filtered in through the satin curtain of the room, feeling the room with their warmth. I yawned lazily and my eyes wandered down to the pillow I had laid on. Though Jade's unforgiving words of Luciano never accepting her still rang like an incessant alarm on repeat in her head but her eyes, veiled by a smoky allure, held a confident gleam.
