3rd Person's POVIt's been a week and Gabbie has not been talking to Xander. It is not like they always talk and this is new, but her silence is especially bothering Xander in a way.Since the incident with Clyde and after Gabbie went to her room that night, the two didn't have any proper interaction at all. Gabbie wakes up so early to do her daily job and sometimes leaves for school earlier than Xander. She will then arrive home early to work again and then lock herself in her room after dinner. They formed a queue from the counter as they are given a bowl and spoon for lunch.A young lady in her early 20s is serving the children pieces of meat while wearing her kindest smile of sympathy. The children do not have families anymore to feed them. The young lady is just too jovial to be someone who can help even with this simple act.She has been working in this orphanage for a year now. She is the newest lady in the said place that is far from the urban area. The orphanage is located deep down in the forests and that is making the atmosphere more relaxing for her. In the evening we would watch some movies of different genres but end up talking about each other's unknown facts. It was like that for almost a month.
