CHAPTER SIXTY-ONE

Gianna's POV; - The Next Day - I glanced to the other side of the bed and I didn't see Adriano and Kaya. I looked at the clock and it was twenty minutes after ten. I woke up pretty late this morning. I got off the bed, went to the bathroom and did my business there. I went to the closet and chose a boho dress to be my outfit for the day. One thing with my second pregnancy is that I don't usually throw up or feel nauseous which I'm thankful for. I got out of the room and went downstairs. I saw everyone in the living room and greeted them generally and then I saw Fiona dragging suitcases outside. Adriano came to me when he saw me. He hugged me and I hugged him back. "Good morning, bambina." He whispered against my forehead before giving me a peck there. "Morning." I hoarsely replied. "Where is my daughter?" I asked and he snorted, "Our daughter is with her nanny." He kissed my neck. I pulled him closer and whispered, "What is happeni

CHAPTER SIXTY-TWO

Adriano's POV; Gianna gasped in shock, "Cecilia?" "Who is she?" Ivor asked with his mouth open. I looked at her in confusion. "What are you doing in my house?" I asked because she had gone silent since I fired her and now all of a sudden she walked into my house for the first time. But I didn't care about that because something else caught my attention. Her belly was bulging in her body crop dress, was she pregnant? She cleared her throat and took a step forward. "I came to see you because I have something to discuss with you but since you are here with your family, I will tell you in front of them." She said and I wanted to ask her to leave but the next thing she said got me crying from the inside. "I'm pregnant. It's yours." She said, What the freaking fuck? This could ruin everything I had with Gianna and my entire years of hard work would surely go in vain if what she just said is true. Gianna's eyes traveled to me and then back to Cecilia's belly before saying, "What?" S

CHAPTER SIXTY-THREE

Gianna's POV; He grabbed my hand and held it. "Please let me explain," he begged but I glared at him. "GET OUT!" I screamed and then he left the room and went downstairs. "Noooooo!" I screamed my lungs out. I cried my eyes out. I fell on the floor and hugged my knees tight. I heard a soft knock on the door and I looked up and I saw Alanna standing by the door. She rushed to me the moment she saw me on the floor. She pulled me into a tight hug and wiped my tears. "Gianna! You need to calm down for the baby's sake, please. I know that this is too hard to digest but I need you to please calm down." "How can I calm down? My home is about to be torn into shreds. The marriage I worked hard for is about to be taken away from me. What did I ever do wrong?" I sobbed against her chest and she rubbed my back. "You did nothing wrong. Listen to me, Adriano can never cheat on you. My brother is not like that." She muttered indistinctly and I pulled away from her. I looked at her and she looked

CHAPTER SIXTY-FOUR

Gianna's POV; I went upstairs and knocked on his door and he came out in nothing but shorts. "Hey, sister-in-law." He winked at me and I went straight to my point. Then he asked me what she did, then I told him and he became furious. After two days, Antonio and Adriano got us to court. At first, Cecilia refused to go to the court but Adriano insisted before she agreed. "Your honor, my client can never do such a thing to someone." Her ugly lawyer spoke. Antonio chuckled beside me. I tried my best to control my anger. "Your honor, this girl called Cecilia did not only kill my client's unborn baby but she also drugged and seduced my client's husband into getting her pregnant so that she could manipulate my client's husband the way she liked." Antonio objected. One thing that I loved about the court trials was that all of the conversations and interactions were in English and not in Italian. I jumped from my thoughts as Cecilia's lawyer hit the table in aggression. "Objection, your ho
