Vincenzo POV The last twenty-four hours have been a whirlwind. We stumbled into another pack’s territory-The Red Mountain Pack. Then, we met Alpha Asher, who is the most confusing Alpha ever. We regrouped and he agreed to help us find The Underground’s hideout with his brother, Archie- stupid mullet head. I swear, the two of them are probably in a contest for who can have the weirdest hairstyle. Lucas called Darius to update him on everything and Darius demanded to join us. Emerald’s sisters also wanted to come help, but we can’t risk any of them being caught in the crossfire of Bram and The Underground. So, they are all waiting at the Running River Pack. Saph was able to get Darius to agree to take her mate, Nathan, with him. We settle at a site about half a day’s walk outside of the Red Mountain territory. Tomorrow night is the full moon. Emmy POV The relief and satisfaction I felt knowing Daphne and Viv escaped was quickly replaced by fear and this overwhelming rush of heat. I haven’t been able to sleep all night. Vincenzo POV Chapter 55 Vincenzo POV Wolves have surrounded us. I didn’t see them. I couldn’t smell them. I barely heard them. Two wolves have me pinned to the ground and I feel their claws and teeth sinking into me. I hear the snarls and fighting of others around me. I can’t shift in this position, and I can feel one wolf tearing into my leg like he’s trying to rip it off my body completely.
