Jade slowly opened her eyes with a stretch and looked around. How did she get on the bed?Memories of yesterday came rushing in.She felt a light headache when she sat up on the bed with a yawn.There was a white pill in a plate and a jar of water on the bedside table.Jade swallowed the pill and climbed down the bed.There is definitely someone in the house and it's probably Khalil.Jade looked around the house but there wasn't any sign of him. “Khalil?” She called but no response.She walked back to her room but then realized there was a room down the hall.“Khalil?” She pushed the door open and walked in. “Um.” Khalil hesitated. “Maria called.” He sat on the bed and caressed her chin.For some reason, he was scared at what her reaction might be.
