Claudius's POV I closed my eyes and pressed my face into Colton's neck, gripping him tighter as he held me. I couldn't see it, I just couldn't do it. I couldn't look at his door, the hall, or anything to do with the Alpha's floor. As soon as Colton stepped into the hall, I could smell the Alpha. Even though he wasn't there, his scent lingered. Or maybe it was seeping out through the door from his room. "Hang on, we're almost there," Colton said, and a moment later I heard a door open, and the scent of Colton invaded my nose even stronger, washing away any lingering scent of the Alpha.
