There are three things you should know about me.One. My name is Aurora, Ro for short. You can call me Aurora.Two. Chapter One

"No dad, I have to- okay. Yes. Okay, I- Yes dad,", I hastily checked my watch. I'm in a rush to get to Beetle Ports headquarters and dad isn't letting me off the phone, "Dad listen, I have to- ""I'm serious Aurora, don't screw this up. Your mother and I both expect big things from you. Think of all- "I sigh into the phone; I regret telling him that I got the job. My heels clack on the ground as I speed along the city pathways."I've got to go dad.", I say as I hang up and round the last corner to the building.My watch says seven-forty-five, which means I'm early, but I wouldn't cut it any closer. Chapter Two

My second week at Beetle Ports Headquarters begins with a bang. This week we are preparing for a celebratory charity event on Sunday, and everyone is in a frenzy. Ms. Bailey is barking orders at me from eight A.M. Two hours after home time, multitudes of people rush in and out of Ms. Bailey's office all day, leaving me either glued to my desk or running through floors. By Monday night, my high heels had burned blisters into my feet. But I'm back at it again Tuesday morning bright and early, organising group after group to participate in the event."Hello, Beetle Ports Headquarters. Chapter Three

I wake up Monday morning with my alarm spitting at me. I'd gone to bed around one in the morning last night and now I have to suffer the consequences of that. Groggily, I rise out of bed then leave for my jog, eat, shower and head for work.It's comforting to see everyone else is crawling around like Zombies too. I pick up a coffee for Ms. Bailey and I, knowing we'll need it, and trudge to the elevator.Ms. Bailey sits at her desk looking as fresh as a daisy, though staying as late as I did last night. I offer her the coffee which she politely refuses.I don't complain, I'm already halfway through mine. Another won't hurt.I'm fumbly all day, making little mistakes constantly. "Ro Ro, that's pretty cool.", Helly hums, twirling Daisy around by the tips of her fingers.I chuckle, "Thanks. I'm very tired.""You should become an investigator, ratting evil people and stuff.", Daisy chimes in, twirling again.After missing Friday dinner, my girls called an emergency meeting at Helly's place. It's hard not to rush to Ms. Bailey Monday morning and blubber out everything that I have seen. I couldn't have helped myself. Sunday night I had been rotting wondering how the situation with Mr. Menni had turned out, I couldn't have stopped myself from committing to a quick search of 'Beetle Ports - Menni - Smuggling' and I was right! Well, I think I was right... The article was vague to say the least. But I'm pretty sure I'm right!As I sit at my desk, I can't help but glance at Ms. Bailey. She must know. Surely, she must know. But if she does, she doesn't give anything away.I slump in my chair. What fun is catching a villain if I don't get to brag about it. The day only lessens in excitement from then on. I make phone calls and fill out paperwork, but I don't get the excitement of being called into Ms. Bailey's office. I travel to the floors below, go get coffee, but I don't get to visit the top floor. By the end of the day, I'm dreary and bored. Tuesday's no better but Wednesday

He's been sitting lazy ever since. My dad has always had patience for him, being his brother apparently meant unconditional funding. "Flores, you gotta' be kidding.", Mr. Campbell incredulously laughs, white gum sitting on his tongue. Though middle aged, he'd be handsome if he ever fully opened his eyes.Ms. Bailey said I was to handle Mr. Campbell the same way she does, and I'm trying but it's easier said than done. I'm on plane to the Southern Coast today, Mr. Scott organised this plane for me. I'm worried the plane is going to fall out of the sky from the burden of my suitcase, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.It's Friday eight o'clock, which means it's nine at my destination. I'm scheduled to leave the plane in an hour, and when I get off, a driver will be waiting to take me to a hotel. When I arrive at the hotel, eleven o'clock Southern Coast time, I take a moment to gaze at the building. I've seen it so many times growing up, but I've never fully appreciated it. The Southern coast isn't a city, it's a large town that stretches along the beach, so the hotel isn't huge; it's old with beautifully crafted beams and decorated roofing lining the top of it, like my childhood home. I don't feel like going to the wine tasting event. After last night- whatever that was -I doubt I'll ever be able to look Mr. Scott in the eye again.My dreamy yellow dress stares at me from my bed and I sigh. A car is scheduled to pick me up in twenty minutes and I'm sitting here in a towel freshly showered and completely unprepared.
