Malia's P.O.V "You are the one I have been waiting for my whole life and having you by my side is what completes me, I can't imagine my life without you in it. Will you do the honour of becoming my wife?" "What! how dare you?" I screamed with frustration and anger consuming me, I felt blood drain from my face and I hadn't noticed the goosebumps creeping on my arms. I was stunned and frozen at that moment as I felt my pulse beating in my ears, blocking out other sounds and a feeling of dread crept up from the pit of my stomach. Time seemed to be slowing down as I wasn't able to comprehend what I saw and heared as I stared at them with wide opened eyes. I moved hastily towards them and whacked off the ring from his hand. "Malia behave! I can explain" Maynard said as he grabbed my shoulders but I harshly shoved him aside. "Don't you dare touch me you scumbag! what exactly can you explain? don't you feel ashamed of yourself and do you really want to give me reasons on why you're havi

Malia's P.O.V... "We meet again miss Smith, aren't you excited to see me?" the man said in a husky voice that sent chills down my spine. He touched me again and that single stroke on my cheek made my body tingle from his teases. I clamped my jaws together while taking in a deep breath and silently counted to ten before I responded. "Thank you for saving me from being righteoused to death but what are you doing here? hold on don't tell me you're stalking me? I pray to the heaven's I should be proved wrong otherwise I won't spare you I'll make sure you regret ever knowing me" I snapped at him "You should always keep your cool, it isn't good for a woman to be so hot blooded. MALIA…I was stirred from my sleep and my brain is awake with a primal surge of adrenaline that should carry me up but my cold heavy limbs disobeyed. I stepped down slowly from the bed as I wore my slippers and left the room. I searched every nook and cranny of the mansion but I couldn't find him anywhere, probably he left cause he has duties to attend to. Once again I reached for my room door and looked back expecting to find him right behind me but he wasn't, my mind had begun to play mild games with me once again but right now I shouldn't let that get to me.After showering I got dressed in a short sleeveless orange body fitted gown which exposed my thighs and my cleavages and it also clung to my body, revealing that banging body. LARSON…The meeting was over and I dismissed the board of directors and they all scampered back to their different duties. He was the one who cheated on you yet you're the one going through so much pain, I bet he must be having the best time of his life with another woman so it's better to get him out of your head and start living your best life" I bent down to her level then I placed a hand on her shoulder as I tried to reassure her."There's nothing I can do, whenever I tried to forget about my pathetic past one way or the other it keeps coming back to me.
