ANDREA. I looked at Dante who had shifted and was already by my side, he pulled me closer to his warm body. “What is she doing?” He asked. “Dark magic,” I replied. I looked up, and the once sunny sky had turned dark, a strong wind blew out of nowhere while Morgana kept on chanting. My eyes widened when I saw the already dead witches and rogues waking up, and walking towards Morgana…..what the fuck!! Everyone stopped fighting as they watched the dead rising and walking towards Morgana, even the headless witches woke up and walked aimlessly towards Morgana. Morgana had a wide smile on her face as she kept on chanting and calling on whatever demon she was summoning. “We have to do something, Andrea,” Alessia said, coming over to my side. I looked at her and asked, “What can we do? The deed has already been done, we can’t turn back the hand of time unless we have that.” I said, pointing at Morgana. They all shuddered and shook their heads. “What on earth is happening here?”

‘Please save her, Dante.’ I managed to pass the message through the mind link, then took my eyes back to little Audrey, who was still running towards me. ‘Don’t come any closer, Audrey.’ Morgana stopped muttering her spells and I gasped in shock when she took one hand from mine and then stretched it towards little Audrey, and my eyes opened wide in shock. “No.” My heart thundered as I looked at little Audrey who wasn’t attempting to flee from there, and then my eyes moved to Morgana who was still reciting some spell with her hands stretched out. My eyes widened as I saw the spell going straight to little Audrey’s way, I tried to hold Morgana’s hand, but I was far too weak to do anything. ANDREA. TWO WEEKS LATER. Two weeks have passed since little Audrey left us for a better place. The pain of her loss was still there and I blame myself every day for not being quick, for not saving her on time. Hell, I blame myself for coming out of the bunkers, I got to know from the guards placed outside the bunkers that Audrey slipped out when she didn’t see me. She came out because of me because I couldn’t do one thing I was instructed to do.
