The bathroom was beautiful. The shining mirrors, the beautiful glass windows. The big bath. I started going inside the bathroom, admiring and gaping at the comfortability he had made.He was truly a man of enjoyment.I stood by the bath, still admiring. It was filled up and covered with foam. I was starting to get a little bit tempted but I managed to hold my ground. No no Nayla, you can't afford to backslide. My hatred for him had started to disappear a little but I was still his maid. I chose to be his maid. I shouldn't be like this.It was against my values. I wouldn't find myself loving or pretending to be loving someone because of the comfortable life he would provide for me. I want someone who would make me happy and know how it feels to be loved. To me Love surpasses all comfortabilities in the universe. Suddenly I felt strong hands holding my wrist as someone emerged from the foamy water. It was Verin. The way he had come out of the water startled me that I jumped in fear.

"I, myself couldn't do a thing. Many days passed, and my sister wasn't found. I sent for people who would look for her and one of my men told me they found her body. I went there and it was really her. She was mercilessly killed by those people. It took me days to get over my sister's death. Then, I decided to give her a befitting burial in honor of her. After the burial, Bella also became missing. She was missing for two whole days. Worry was eating me up, but thankfully I received a news that the Royal palace are in custody of a small child. I made my research and found she was the one, so I came here." Explained Bella's uncle. There was a deafening silence. Gosh, Bella had really gone through a lot.I couldn't help the tears as I looked at the child. Why must she go through this? This world is full of cruel people. "If... You don't mind, can she stay... here a little... longer, till she gets better at least" I requested, stuttering a bit. Verin stared at me for a while before he

"So to fulfill your quest for teaching me a lesson, you endangered a little child you're so pathetic" Nayla angrily said" Oops, did I make your little goodness plan failed " Kera did some puppy eyes and blinked them, like an innocent kid." Your Majesty, I know where Bella is " Nayla had her eyes fixated on Kera as she shot her a dead glare. She had grabbed the men's attention and Verin asked her, a little confused."Tell me where she is?" Was his response"But Nayla, if you knew where she is, why bother the entire palace about it. You could have just get her" Kera blinked her eyes again, pretending to be confused as well "Don't play the confused one. What is it? Yes, Luna Kera. Why don't you tell us where she is? "Nayla wanted to prove to Verin that it was Kera behind the disappearance of the little girl." What do you mean? That I'm behind her disappearance? " Kera pretentiously asked, like she was confused"Where did you hide Bella? Please tell us all" Nayla started to beg." Sh

"But Verin, you know I don't like it when one of your mistresses talks back at me or even dared to insult me but Nayla did. And she's just your servant girl!""She's still a Queen, you know. Besides, she must be hurting as well. She lost her husband" Verin calmed her down as he explained to Kera.Kera was surprised.Verin is supporting Nayla over her? Wait.. is he really serious right now."Are you really still going to choose her over me?! Don't talk to me Verin.Don't talk to me" she hissed as she crossed her hands over her chest."No, I'm just trying to be humane and a little considerate. Nayla lost her husband, because of me. I killed the husband of the woman whom... I don't know why I have some usual feelings for. I'm starting to feel guilty" he simply said."Wait wait wait" Kera adjusted herself to face Verin and faced him.So... He was only feeling guilty right? So he doesn't really have any feelings for Nayla right?"You're just being guilty Verin. Don't be. You did the right t

I was starting to get overwhelmed by my worries.I couldn't afford Bella to go through another trauma. She was just healing from the loss of her mother.I tried running to the direction the masked men had vanished into but Lewan's strong hands held me captive."Lady Nayla, don't worry. Alpha Verin will get her back but you need to be calm. I have received orders from the Alpha that we should return to Yvan" he told me but my mind was still running like a headless chicken."But Bella""She will be fine, My Lady"We went back to the carriage and started hurrying back to Yvan kingdom.I was peeking my head out the windows every minute to see if I might find anything that can lead me to Bella. But what happened next send shivers down my spine.I was horror-stricken when a piece of Bella's skirt was thrown on my face by the wind.It was a piece of Bella's skirt and it was stained with blood. My buffeting heart increased in its race. What if... What if they had hurt her."No!" I shook my he
