My eyes went to the door when it opened. One of Sylvan's men entered with a tray in his hand. Like usual, he did not say anything to me as he silently put the tray on the table. I just watched him as I remained sitting on the cold floor, breathing heavily.I swallowed hardly as I felt my stomach growling. I can’t wait to eat whatever is in that tray.
