ANNALISE… Randall then leaves the room. I shake my head and make my way over to the bed and stand next to Candace. I look at her and say, “Okay, let's get this over with first. Do you mind that it is me looking after you?” She holds out her hand. I take it and she pulls me towards her, pulling me over and onto the bed. Once I am sitting on the bed in front but to the side of her she says, “I have never had anything against you Annalise, I have always wanted to be your friend, but I always thought I wasn’t good enough to be one of your friends.” “You were always with Charmine…” “I was always her little lackey. If she wanted something done, she would get me to do it unless it was something that would make her look better in front of the Alpha… Sorry, in front of Randall. RANDALL… I liked seeing the joy on Annalise’s face when she heard him say that she still had her job. Now it was my turn to break that happiness once more. I reach over and mute the phone for a moment as I say, “Now you just have to tell him that you can’t take it.” She looks at me with wide eyes as she then says, “But Randall, you said I could still work for Nightmoon and Co.” “That I did, however, you can’t leave pack territory. So unless he has work you can do from home, then you will have to give him your notice and forget about working.” Her eyes fill with tears as I then press the mute button once more, allowing Annalise to speak to Mr Nightmoon. Her voice is soft and full of sadness as she says, “Thank you, Mr Nightmoon, for the offer. However, I now have commitments at home and unless you have some sort of work I can do from here, I am going to have to decline your offer of returning to your company.”

THIRD PERSON… Daniel had been up all night doing some research and trying to find a way to remove Annalise’s slave and mate mark. He never thought he had a chance with Annalise, but he has never found his mate and his feelings for her over the years, even with being out of pack territory, have only grown, and yesterday was proof of that. If he could find a way to remove both marks, then maybe she would consider being his chosen mate. He couldn't find anything in their library about removing both. The only thing he could do would be to get in touch with the King and ask to search the archives for an answer. Daniel sighs his defeat and makes a mental note to send an official request to the King about access to the archives. He slides his hand down his face and is heading back to his room for some rest when he sees Annalise leaving Candace’s room and heading downstairs. He decides to follow her and make sure she is okay, that they are okay, especially after their kiss. Daniel follows

RANDALL…  I then go and see Doc Randy. I walk up to his office door and knock. I wait until he looks up and says,  “Alpha, what can I do for you?”  “I need a light sedative.”  “Why?”  I move quickly and grab him by the throat as I growl in his face.  “You will learn very quickly, Randy, that it is not wise to question your Alpha.”  “Sorry, Alpha.” he wheezes.  I let him go and step back. I then repeat,  “I need a very light sedative. What do you have?”  “The best sedative for a wolf is wolfsbane, just a small amount of that will render the one exposed weak for a few hours.”  “No, I need one that would work on a human, but I only want them out for about half an hour.”  “Human? Okay. I think I have some Precedex here somewhere… Um, Alpha, if I may?”  I nod as he gets to his feet and walks out of the office and down to

ANNALISE… Randall then undoes the cuffs at my wrists. I collapse forward into his arms. He then moves and picks me up. He then walks with me over to the table. I whimper as he sits me on the cold surface. I have been feeling the cold more now that I don’t have Misty. I don’t fight him as he then reattaches first one cuff and then the other. I don’t realise until he steps back that he now has me chained to the table facing the rack. He then walks back over to where Daniel is still kneeling and pulls Daniel to his feet by his hair. He then drags him over to the rack. He turns him so that he is facing the wall before he places the cuffs around his wrists. He then walks back over to stand in front of me. He slides his hand on my cheek, applying just a little pressure, making me lift my head and look up at him. He then says, “Him fucking you was your punishment. Now it is time for you to watch his.” “Randall, please don’t…”
