Sophia The smell of breakfast woke me from the best sleep I've had all week. I remember Oliver coming home while I was waiting for him and carrying me up the stairs, but that's all I remember. I'm happy he's here, and I hope he wants to talk to me. I tried to stay up all night, but sleep overtook me in a few hours, and there was no getting past it. I throw on an old jumper I find rummaging in the cupboard and head downstairs. Nerves fly around in my stomach, mostly wanting to see Oliver but also for not knowing how he would react. I hit the bottom of the stairs, and it's the perfect sight. He's standing in the kitchen now, flipping something on the stove with his back to me like he's in his own world. I pause, not wanting to interrupt. I can only imagine the things he's been thinking all night. "Morning," he says, not turning, completely startling me.
