As I closed my eyes to sleep, I felt a strange presence in the room. I opened my eyes and saw a shadowy figure standing at the foot of my bed. I tried to scream, but no sound came out. The figure stepped closer, and I could see his face. It was the boy from the dining hall, his dark eyes gleaming in the darkness like a cat's eyes. "Who are you?" I managed to whisper, my heart pounding painfully in my chest. I wished I was closer to Glenn, so I could pinch her awake. "Your worst nightmare." He said, and then everything went black. I screamed and ran to turn on the very bright room lights. I was sweating profusely and panting like a scared dog. "Glenn! Glenn? Glenn please, wake up!" I called out, as I ran over to Glenn's bedside and tapped her hurriedly, watching the room.
