You will stay in the sun without your cloak until their bodies are ash,” orders Rex. Hector just nods. He picks up the icy bodies and carries them to the courtyard. There he lays them on some wood and sets them ablaze, then he stands and watches them burn. As he watches, his skin is burning from the sun. It sizzles, but Hector welcomes the pain.
