Chapter 31

Sienna: “What are you doing, Arturo?” I asked, shaking my head at the man who smirked, seeming proud as he approached me. The man has been outside in the garden for the past hour, and whenever I asked to go and see what he was doing; he would dismiss me to go back inside while he ‘finished’ what he was doing. But whatever it was, he seemed to be too quiet and literally no noise came out of it. Hence my curiosity and confusion. There was also the fact that the headmistress didn’t even want me approaching the balcony’s door and has been trying to keep me in the kitchen for as long as she could. He smiled, seeming proud of whatever he was doing and I raised an eyebrow, wanting to know what he was on about. He wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me toward his chest as he hugged me. The two of us were going back to the pack today, and to say that I was nervous wasn’t going to be a lie. I didn’t know how I was going to handle being their Luna, and considering that they were Lycans

Chapter 32

Arturo: I smiled as I watched Sienna park the car. Her smile was one that I couldn’t help but grow addicted to. The way she looked at me and the way she seemed grateful for what she was getting was something that I couldn’t help but appreciate. Her words played in my head as she silently told me the struggle that she has been through. The fact that she was telling me what she has been through told me that she was in more pain than she was letting out. “Did you like it, baby girl?” I asked, and she smiled. “I loved it!” She said, letting the steering wheel go. She took her seatbelt off and turned to me, connecting her lips with mine, making me smile at how genuine she was. I wrapped my arm around her, pulling her closer to me, and I smiled into the kiss. “Thank you so much, Arturo.” “You don’t have to thank me, baby girl. I did it to make you happy.” I said, pulling away to look her in the eye. I ran my fingers through her jawline, and she leaned in to my touch. I still didn’t k

Chapter 33

Sienna: I sat on the dresser as I wiped my makeup, wanting to wash my face. Arturo knocked on the door twice, his scent filled my nostrils and I couldn’t help the smile that formed on my face as I saw him entering the room with a small smile. He took off his jacket, setting it on the bed, as he worked on the buttons of his sleeves. I could tell that he was annoyed, his eyes spoke louder than his words ever would, and getting up from the chair, I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around him. He wrapped his around me before I pulled away to look at him. I slowly helped him with his shirt, something that has become a habit. I would mostly help him with buttoning or unbuttoning his shirt, fixing his tie, or ensuring that his jacket didn’t have specs on it. It was something that I knew he seemed to like. “Aren’t you going to ask what happened?” He asked, raising an eyebrow at me. I wasn’t, I wasn’t the type to interfere in what didn’t concern me. It was something that I learned gr

Chapter 34

Arturo:I entered the office, nodding at Donatello who was tending to a few papers in his own room. Our offices were connected to one another, and considering the fact that he didn’t have the blinds of the glass on, the glass was see-through and I could see him inside. He smiled and nodded, and I watched as he put the papers down before he entered my room. The two of us smiled at one another and he extended a hand to me before pulling me in for a hug when I shook his. “You could have told me that you were coming today, I would have waited for you.” Donatello said, and I smiled at him.“I wasn’t planning to just yet, but Sienna and I decided to change our plans. I knew that you would be at work, that is why I didn’t call and figured to come here directly.” I said, and he nodded. However, looking at the watch, he frowned.“You left Sienna at home alone with the pack?” Donatello asked and I nodded. I had to admit, I did debate on staying with her, ensuring that things went right on the

Chapter 35

Sienna:“What do you mean that we are going to be sitting at the table?” I heard one of the pack members ask. His voice boomed as he questioned the maids. The kitchen was closed based on my request, this pack was going to accept this place as a home. This was not a hotel for them to act as they pleased.“Luna Sienna has given the order…”“That wolf?” Another member asked, stopping the maid. Her tone filled with surprise.I raised an eyebrow and walked out of the dining room, crossing my arms over my chest. I knew that they were well aware of my presence, however, neither one of them bothered to acknowledge it.“Yes, ‘that wolf’.” I said, looking at the ranting Lycans. “This is a family pack, and I do believe that considering the fact that you live within one mansion, that you can share a table.”“Who the fuck do you think you are to tell us what to do?” The man who was initially snapping at the maid asked me. He took a step toward me, baring his canines as I could see his claws growin

Chapter 36

Arturo:I entered the house and raised an eyebrow at the smell of food that hit my nostrils. I walked toward the dining room, following the smell only to smile when I found that Sienna was setting a table for the two of us. Having entered through our own door, I was surprised that she was setting a table for us in our living room. The fact that I came home to a home cooked meal at our place was something that I couldn’t help but cherish. Maybe it was the fact that I remembered myself being younger and how this pack was homier as I was younger. Things started changing as we grew older, and I didn’t know the reason behind it; however, I knew that it was something that I wanted to relive through. It was something that I wanted to have in my family, and I was thankful for the fact that I had it with the woman that I married without the need of having kids or telling her to begin with. She simply did it because she wanted to, and that was something that I couldn’t help but admire. She l

Sienna: “I heard that you got into a conflict with the pack members.” Arturo said, putting his fork down as he looked at me. I looked down at the table, frowning as I feared what he was going to say. I knew that these were his pack members, but I also knew that to prove to them that I was worth being their Luna, I needed to ensure that I had my position within the pack. I didn’t want to end up being an outcast within the pack that I was supposed to protect when its Alpha was not around. The two of us have been having a lovely evening dinner, and I had to admit, I didn’t think that he would have known or heard of it. Turns out that I was wrong, and that he was well aware of what happened. The thing was, it was not something that I wanted him keeping in mind as I didn’t want to end up with him getting into conflicts with his pack members. The two of us were newlyweds, and I didn’t want to be the cause of issues when we were barely starting our marriage. “I understand that they may h

Chapter 38

Arturo: I raised an eyebrow at Alana who entered the room with a tray of wine and a jug of water. She looked down at her feet as she set them on the table in front of me, avoiding my eyes as she took a step back. Her heart was racing against her ribcage, not knowing what my reaction would be. “Where is Luna Sienna?” “She was speaking to your second beta, Alpha.” She said, and I nodded. I knew that Lorenzo wasn’t the type to get into an argument with a woman and even if he did, he would often choose to make it up to them somehow, or he would explain the reason behind whatever lash out that he had. Therefore, this was expected. I watched as Alana walked out before Sienna walked back inside. She didn’t say anything as she sat back beside me. “Have you managed to clear your mind?” I asked, looking at her, studying her expression. I didn’t want her to feel cornered, but just as Lorenzo had his own fit, reminding him that she was his Luna, she was to learn that what she did was wrong.

Chapter 39

Sienna: I sat on the edge of the bed for a few minutes before I laid down, allowing my fuzzy brain to try and cool off if only for a few seconds. However, I wasn’t stupid, I knew that it wouldn’t be that easy. I wasn’t that lucky to have that advantage just yet. My heart raced against my ribcage as I processed the man’s harsh words. The fact that he didn’t even think of considering anything that I was saying, treating me like I didn’t know anything and that I was oblivious. It reminded me how I was treated by my family, and that fact alone was enough to break something in me. I curled up on the pillow and let a few tears fall from my eyes before getting under the blanket. It was the first day here, and rather than making it a memorable one, I was breaking inside over a husband who saw me as someone who he couldn’t trust enough to know what she was doing. If anything, I knew that what he did now was not only going to push me away from the pack members as their Luna, but was also go

Chapter 40

Arturo:I wrapped my arms around my wife who stood in front of the mirror. She was getting ready for the day, and has been quiet since she woke up. I knew that despite us making up last night and me explaining everything to her, she was still upset with me. I couldn’t blame her, nor could I judge her for it, I knew that she grew insecure after what happened.“Good morning,” I whispered to her. I kissed her cheek from the back, and she put her hand on my cheek, gently running her finger over my scruff.“Morning,” she said, and I smiled. I turned her around to face me, and pulled her to my chest. “How are you?”“I am fine, neonata, and you?” I asked, running my finger over her waist. She was wearing a knee long flower dress. The dress was tight around her waist and loosened around her hips, drawing out her curves. The opening of her chest reached just the tip of the valley of her breasts, and that was something that I appreciated about her. The fact that she often maintained a royalt
