Despite the advice by the medical team, Damian Cross' mother refused to sign the consent form for an operation. That way, Anna Brook was in labor for a whole day until she had no more strength. When the doctors saw that the woman in the labor ward could die if nothing was done, they called Damian's mother. When she came, she was asked who she was exactly to Anna Brook and she said her mother in law. She was then warned that if Anna Brook dies in that labor ro, she would be arrested for murder.
