* Chapter 10 * The voice on the other side was raspy. And the conversation was very short yet serious, swiping the screen to the left, Val woke up from the bench. She spied from the transparent door watching the old lady with an oxygen mask on. "Ma'am. You will be fine, I promise" a smile cropped on her lips into a thin line. The shafts from the sun perforate the room from the curtains as the nurse opens them. Those rays reflected on Val's face making it charming. Shimmering her eyes because of the rays, Val woke to see two sets of eyes on her. Instantly through her blur vision, she searched for her glasses which lay in their compartment.
