Lahat ng Kabanata ng Mated to the Rogue Alpha: Kabanata 181 - Kabanata 190

Isabella.Today was a holiday, which meant that there was no need to open up shop.At Treasure's request, I dropped him off with Sierra, who had apparently promised him a carnival ride. I rolled my eyes at Sierra's over-the-top attempts to station herself as the best aunt in the world in his eyes, but I left him with her nonetheless.“Have you heard from Leo?" I asked Sierra once Treasure was in the house, already engrossed in watching a cartoon show. The last time I had spoken to him was the night before yesterday. “Damian said he came for the alliance meeting yesterday looking pretty worn out, at least compared to his normal look."I let out a sigh. It wasn't surprising considering what he was going through now, but I wished that I could have done something. Even though I knew he had all the help he could need in the form of his pack and employees. To my surprise, Sierra patted my shoulder. “Don't worry, Izzy. He'll be fine. I think you're helping him well enough by speaking to hi

Isabella. He didn't say anything, but then again, silence was another answer of its own.Had I not been conscious of my surroundings, I would have screamed right then and there from the excitement that filled me. It was just like yesterday when Connor had told me about his inability to find his mate. Connor, who was a year older than me, had passed 18 and hadn't found his mate then. The more I had thought about it then, the more I sympathized with him, and the more I likened him to Leo in a way. Although there were different situations, being unable to find his mate had certainly taken a toll on him. I could tell it easily from the way he rarely spoke of it even while we occasionally communicated. And now, after six more years, he had finally found his mate.Words couldn't express how happy I was for him. I wanted to embrace him and hold him tightly in joy. Because finally, my best friend and brother could finally achieve happiness.“Hey, hey, hey. Hold on." I turned at the sound of

Leo.Every single ounce of exhaustion that drifted through me seemingly faded away the moment I saw the man behind Isabella.I was surprised at the sight I saw before me, but I pieced it together easily.Though changed, I remembered the man who had taken Isabella away all those years ago. And I was sure that this was him.I remembered during one of our conversations where she brought up his name months ago - it was inevitable to talk about while she shared tales of her pack. Connor. Her best friend and practically brother. It eased my worries back then, leading to me exposing to her my previous jealousy and possessiveness, even to the point where I believed that he was the fool which had rejected her and had come to take her back. She was incredulous to my words before laughing at the end.“Connor is nothing more than a brother to me. Although I can't deny that once I found him handsome and even attractive, that was a long time ago.” She shook her head, marveling in nostalgia whilst a

Leo.Her face turned pensive for a moment. “Hey, Leo.” She called.I focused on her as she drew closer. “Do you, by any chance, know if anyone new has come into your pack?"I furrowed my brows at her question. Why was she suddenly asking about any rogues? The instant change in conversation was already bewildering enough.I shook my head sincerely after some thinking, looking at her in a mix of confusion. To my surprise, she deflated a bit.“Why? What's wrong?” I asked. What had happened for her to ask?She looked toward the guest room for a moment before eyeing me again, giving me barely a crumb of whatever she meant. A matter relating to a rogue and her friend? She patted me before giving me the same look she gave before. I expected her next words.“I'll tell you later." She said.I sighed in resignation, my thoughts reducing as she leaned slightly to me, squeezing my hand before pulling it toward her. I felt her soft warm lips touch the back of my arm startlingly, gasping a little

Leo.Silence reigned as her footsteps disappeared. Finally, I turned to face him, one on one.Without thinking, I knew that my posture had changed, I no longer stood as Just Leo, but as the Alpha of the Rogue pack, against a stranger who was the Alpha Heir. He looked at me the same way, hostile even in silence. But then…Slowly, I forced myself to relax my posture against my instincts and the possessive snapping of Gerald inside. I wasn't going to be the one to act hostile, not toward the person Isabella cared about. So closing my eyes, I took in deep breaths, making myself relax and reminding my instincts and wolf that he was not a threat. It took more than a few seconds, but soon my body followed, when I was finally fully at ease, I slowly opened my eyes to face him.He looked stricken as he faced me and I could tell that he had never expected me to make such a move. Forcing myself to lose my guard around him was akin to raising an olive branch, and he had the option of remaining ho
