Chapter 111
Dee's POV I went through some random things on my phone though my mind wasn't fixed on it. I tried to distract myself from thinking of important things. The door was opened so there was no need for Jordan to knock before coming in. He kissed and asked me what I was up to. "Nothing much, just trying not to think too much," I replied. "Massimo is around," He whispered to me and left so I can have my privacy. "Why haven't you taken any of the girls?" I asked immediately he entered the room. Call me impatient, that's what I was. "It's not that easy, Dee," He replied sitting beside me. "Stop delaying, Massimo. You know what Luciano can do," I warned. "Relax, Dee. I've got it all under control. I'm trying to collaborate with Arianna, though she's not as strong as Luciano she has a great influence and will be able to help us a lot," Massimo informed me. Not helpful. "I hope she helps out and doesn't get confused by her love for Luciano

Chapter 112
Dee's POV After pacing to and fro I decided to meet my father. I became enraged when I remembered how I begged him to allow me stay in Italy. He hated me and I was very sure of it, I didn't understand how possible it was for a father to hate his son. I began to throw things around breaking my favorite flower vase in the process. I flung my phone as my door flew open with one of my guards running inside the room. "Calm down boss," He said trying to hold me down with others running inside as well. "Get out, all of you," I yelled. But no one listened as they kept arranging the things that were on the floor. They asked me to relax so that the people around wouldn't use me as an object for gossip. I listened to them as my anger calmed down a bit. I realized that throwing things around wasn't the appropriate thing to do but to face my father and pour out everything on my mind. Pfffff, throwing things requires alot of energy. Luciano should ha

Amara's POV My laptop sat open in front of me but I couldn't concentrate on the reason for opening it. I had a project to take care of but that wasn't important to me as I stood up with my phone in my hands. I paced to and fro in Luciano's room still contemplating on going on with my plans. That was it! I locked the door and went into the bathroom. I checked for cameras knowing that Luciano could be funny sometimes but I couldn't find any then dialed the number. 'Please pick up' Dee's responded immediately and I heaved a sigh happy that I didn't have to wait too long for him to respond. "Amara, how are you doing?" He asked. "I'm fine, I finally decided to call," I chuckled nervously but I still wanted to confirm if he was truly the one. "I guess," He replied and stayed silent while I thought of what to ask him. "When was the last time we talked and what did we talk about?" I asked and he told me everything making me feel relaxed. I can

Chapter 114
Amara's POV I held in the laughter that threatened to burst out of my mouth. Was that jealousy I sensed? "Yes, it was his. And I'm actually thinking of accepting his proposal and starting a real relationship with him," I said. Omg! His face!I shouldn't have said that but, I did already. "Join me," He offered as he lay on the bed with a smile. I didn't want to because I had a lot of things on my mind. And I also didn't want to be charmed by Luciano's sweetness again only for him to treat me like trash later on. "I don't want to," I refused and his smile turned to a frown. "Amara, you are just a sex slave. So you don't have the right to refuse me when I ask you for anything, including your body. Do you understand me?" He asked his voice rising in anger. "Yes," I replied angrily that he had switched again. "Strip!" He ordered. Having no choice but to obey his command, I took off my dress quickly. I was left with my blac

Chapter 115
Luciano's POV I left the room angrily though I was bothered with how I left her. She was too stubborn and always loved to be taught a lesson. I pray she didn't collapse out of exhaustion. I needed to go somewhere really important but I had to make sure that Shuri didn't leave the house, she was unsafe same as Amara. But I needed to protect her more because of Massimo's eyes on her. I called the guards close to me and instructed them strictly not to allow Shuri out of the house. I had to threaten them with their jobs and knowing how well they were treated, they knew better than to disobey me. Raul and I got to the meeting point and I asked him to stay around. I didn't want him listening to our conversation. I ordered a drink but left it untouch while waiting for Massimo to come quickly. He was always late but I didn't allow it to annoy me because we had something

Chapter 116
Luciano's POV I returned to my club sipping another glass of wine though it was more alcoholic than the previous one I had taken. I was engrossed in my thoughts and kept wondering why people suddenly saw me as weak. I never acted like one! Or had they seen how I act with Amara and Shuri and thought me to be weak? Shit! That can't be good. My hands rested on the table, thinking of what to do next when a guard whispered to me of Dee's presence. I straightened after asking him to be let in though I felt I was doing something wrong. "Hey bro," He greeted while stretching his hands for a handshake. It felt weird but I didn't want to reject his gesture so I received it then turned my attention to the band that played smoothly. I looked around and watched people smiling, shaking their heads to the rhythm of the song while some couples swa

Chapter 117
Amara's POV I was bored as usual, as the people in the house barely talked to me. I didn't care because we had nothing to talk about. Luciano and I hadn't crossed paths for sometime and I felt like he was avoiding me which made things easier for the both of us. My eyes darted to the wallpaper and I decided to check the room not minding if I'd be stuck in there again. Staying there alone was better than being with someone who didn't care about me. I took off the wallpaper and rolled it to a certain limit then touched the door which opened swiftly. Dust and cobwebs filled the room and I wondered why Luciano didn't bother taking care of it. Several pictures were hung on the wall and I stared at them in amazement, wondering how someone could resemble me so much. She was beautiful and had a charming smile, her eyes were innocent and her hair looked soft and full. Looking at the pictures, I understood why people talked about our similar looks, we were was

Chapter 118
Amara's POV Returning to class after the short break made me happy. I was able to interact with the few friends I had made earlier and learnt more. Lectures went smoothly as expected and I made sure that I didn't think of anything else but my study. If I finished with my studies then I'd have to look for a well paying job and start my life over. Someone threw a rolled paper at me and I turned back to see Obinna waving at me. I smiled back at him contemplating on asking him to check out what was on the flash drive. I made my decision and tore out a piece of paper then told him what I wanted him to do and added my phone number as well. I threw the paper back at him and made sure the lecturer didn't notice what I did. Before they call us 'live birds'. I didn't want to be asked to stand up for disrupting the class. Well, I don't think that happens in college. After class, I stood outside waiting for him to meet me. He walked towards me wea

Amara's POV        Stealing from Gio got me paranoid though it had been more than a day since I collected the money from him. I kept avoiding anything that would make us bump into each other and stayed put in Luciano's room.       I was surprised at my reaction and wondered if I wasn't the same person that picked pockets for a living. It was the act stealing that brought me to Luciano's house and now I had become scared of being caught.      "I gest I learned a lesson"      The hiding was over as I saw him enter the room. My heart skipped two beats as I watched him come closer to me, he know about my theft, his eyes showed it.     "Hey mama," He called jokingly while I stared at him with a straight face trying not to give away myself.      "Hi, Gio. You look better today," I said with a confident tone.      "I feel better, thank you for checking on me and taking my

Chapter 120
Amara's POV "That's for trying to act like you care." She spat while I glared at her. She was really testing my patience. But at the same time, do I care? Yeah! I really do care. "Do you know who Pablo is?" She asked suddenly. I didn't know whether to agree but since I saw him as unimportant I denied it. "I don't know him," I lied. "That's a lie, he said that you both has dated for sometime," She stated getting me angry. I felt like telling her everything about I and Pablo's relationship but seeing her present mood I knew she wouldn't believe me. "We never dated," I debunked. That yucky! That son of a bitch isn't even called Pablo, his name is Bruno and he is my relative. Should I tell her that now? "You're too secretive, Amara, I don't want to talk to you anymore. Don't you realize that I've been avoiding you for sometime now? It's because you care only about yourself," She said and I shrugged. This girl bis really a brok
