Melanie’s POV The next few days went by pretty smoothly and I felt like I was finally getting a handle on things at work again after the tragic accident. A good number of the victims were still in the ICU but their prognosis looked good so fingers crossed they make it out alive. The ICU has been a revolving door of visitors coming to check on their loved ones and I could see the hope along with the sadness in their eyes during every visit.
