Fighting the Dusk Basilisk!

Aiden moved swiftly. His hind limbs greatly increased his speed such that he was right behind the Basilisk before it could get escape into the hole. It had successfully entered the hole alright, but that was where its progress ended.“Come here!” Aiden exclaimed and grabbed onto the tail of the Basilisk, breaking apart its scales and forcing his claws into its flesh.*ROAR*The Dusk Basilisk roared in pain and tried to throw Aiden off. It thrashed around with all its might yet the young Lion King would not let go. Its struggles only served to force the claws in deeper, and its cries grew even more sorrowful.“Gravity Arts: 200kg Luggage” Aiden quickly activated a technique that was meant to increase his body weight to better his chances of holding on. The use of his technique was immediately seen as the Dusk Basilisk that was threatening to sweep him away with its tail suddenly ceased its actions. It trembled greatly as Aiden suddenly became someone too heavy to carry.“It’s a good th

Killing the Dusk Basilisk!

Aiden’s beast transformation was slowly undone as the redness of his eyes spread to the rest of his body. A red mist escaped from his nostrils as he returned to his human form, and that red mist seeped into his Weapon Deck. The conspicuous ring glowed brightly and transformed into the large battle axe that Aiden had deemed unfit for a battle of this caliber. It floated calmly before him like a weightless feather, awaiting his touch.*Grasp**Boom*The earth trembled when Aiden grabbed the battle axe, and the weapon hummed crazily as it greedily swallowed the red mist that Aiden’s body was giving out ever so generously.*Hiss*The Dusk Basilisk hissed anxiously upon sensing Aiden’s changes. Every Undead that had fought a Beastman before knew that they were at their weakest when they were human. After all, that was the thought in the mind of the Dusk Basilisk when it was digging those holes that littered its cave. Logically speaking, Aiden returning to his human form should have been a

Aiden could feel something sticky on his face. It was the discomfort of whatever this was that caused his consciousness to return to him. He opened his eyes groggily only to feel a sharp pain that penetrated his marrow and filled every part of his body.“Urgh,” Aiden could not help but exclaim.“Where am I? What on earth happened to me?” he wondered and as if on cue, memories from only a few hours ago rushed into his mind and threatened to knock him unconscious one more time.“Ah…I see…I resorted to using Frenzy,” Aiden coughed weakly and said. It took only a few moments for all the memories to settle within his haggard mind. However, once they had he couldn’t help but feel some degree of fear.“I really shouldn’t be using Frenzy,” he rebuked himself. His father had forbidden that technique for a reason. Frenzy was too unstable a skill to rely on. Not only was it dangerous to the user, it was dangerous to those around the user as well.Frenzy was a technique that was developed several

Asmodeus; the Great Elder: I

Just as Aiden had ventured into a strange and dangerous land for his own gains, there was another who was doing the same. This person was a smallish old man who was slightly bent over a thin black cane. On his left hand were several ornaments; for each finger was adorned with a silver ring. He had short black hair with streaks of gray running through it. This man was one that was regarded as the most shrewd of the enemies that the Beastmen had to face. He wasn’t the strongest enemy there was, but if one asked any of the Beast Elders who they’d rather not face, they would mention this man’s name. This man was Elder Sand.Elder Sand’s movements were slow, yet every step caused him to travel several meters beyond his prior position. He had a black mask on to conceal his features, however his red eyes told of his ambitious nature. For a man like this to venture so far out of the Undead Castle could only mean two things: it was either he had been sent by the Undead Lord on another mission;

Asmodeus; the Great Elder: II

A sound much similar to the flowing waters of a gentle stream filled the ears of every Walker as a large river of blood engulfed the desert. The river was several meters long and stretched as far as the eye could see, going beyond the confines of the desert and even extending to the land after it! It truly was a sea, for it had no end and no beginning. It was as vast as it was deep. The Walkers began to slowly sink into the thick, viscuous sea of blood. They tried to resist the fall but couldn’t do anything other than prolong their inevitable fate. *Twine* Several vines of blood extended from the sea of blood and grabbed onto the Walkers. Disregarding their resistance the vines dragged them into the sea and drowned them, swallowing their bodies into itself. Once every Walker had been dragged into the sea, the bloody river slowly receded and disappeared into a small drop of blood that floated stably in the air. “Return, Sea of Blood,” Elder Sand commanded and that small drop of blood

Asmodeus; the Great Elder: IV

There was an eerie silence following Elder Sand's apology. All that could be heard was the whistling wind and the thumping of Elder Sand's heart. As dead as he was, even he held his heart palpitating under the oppression of silence."Your name is familiar," Great Elder Asmodeus finally spoke. The killing intent that was centralised on Elder Sand decreased, but it has by no means disappeared. However, to Elder Sand this was a good sign. This meant that Great Elder Asmodeus was willing to listen.Elder Sand hastily removed his mask, exposing his old and wrinkled face. His face was pale, as pale as a sheet of paper. "This junior had the luxury of meeting the Great Elder in his youth," Elder Sand lifted his head slightly so that his face was visible. Although Great Elder Asmodeus had not shown himself, Elder Sand knew that the Great Elder could see him. He felt the older man's power scanning him all over soon after, proving that he was right."Ah yes. You were that junior who didn't know

Winged

In a land hidden by snow and ice, a man in blue robes traversed a frozen lake. His eyes were coffee brown, more beautiful that neatly stitched fabric and his hair was as white as the snow that surrounded him. He had a lean physique that gave him an effeminate appearance and his beautiful appearance made it even more difficult to convince people that he was a man. There was no flaw on him; at least, there was no visible one. Strapped to the man’s back was a sword that was as slender as he was. The sword had no scabbard, making the symbols that caressed its blade very obvious. Several of the symbols were in a strange language that was not spoken by men; however there was one thing that any man would see and understand right away - wings. The hilt of the blade was shaped like the wings of an angel; however, unlike the wings of an angel, these wings were pitch black! As strange as it was to see someone traveling a land as barren as this one with so little clothes on, his pet was even stra

Welcome to the Kingsman Family

While there were many things happening behind the scenes, that didn’t concern Kylie right now. First and foremost, those things had nothing to do with her - at least for now. Secondly, she was too weak to have an effect on the current affairs of any race. Third and lastly, she was in a predicament of her own.“Erm…do I really have to come as well?” Kylie asked Davies who was seated next to her. The two were seated at the back of an expensive four wheel drive. The car was an irregular one and had four backseats instead of the usual three. The other seats were occupied by burly men dressed in expensive suits. Kylie and Davies were sat shoulder to shoulder, sandwiched between the two men. Jack wasn’t with the duo. He had been escorted to a similar vehicle that was right behind theirs.“I don’t think you have a choice. It isn’t like I wanted to come as well. Tsk.” Davies seemed upset by the current development, but he too didn’t have the power to stop what was happening.“How did we even

Clara and Galbraith Kingsman

“This place is huge!” Kylie whispered to Davies. Although her family was also well to do, there was no way they could compare. For starters the Kingsman Family House compound was so large that Kylie couldn’t even see where the gate was located. There were several large gardens all around and many guards position strategically. It was almost like a royal palace, and Kylie couldn’t help but be astonished.“Well yeah. That brat is wealthy.” Davies cleaned his ear with his finger with a nonchalant look on his face. He had been here enough times to not be fascinated by what he was seeing anymore.The guards frowned upon hearing Davies calling Jack a brat, but they did not step out to correct him. These were the young master’s friends and their guests; the Kingsman Family would never throw their fist toward a friend.“Kylie; Davies; I am sorry for this,” Jack got down off his vehicle and approached the two with an apologetic expression on his face. He looked truly sorry about the whole thin
