Correction?

It's been quite a long day for all of them, she'd been three but listening to Mrs. Jones talk about her marriage drained her even more. It was funny to think a person whom you thought you knew everything about could switch up and show you how contrary they are to your views of them. In Mrs. Jones's eyes, Maria saw herself. That fear lingered there even though she was away from her husband, that must have been the reason she was eager to leave the hospital just like Maria had left Spain, for good. There were a lot of what-ifs flying around in her head. What if Andrew was in fact lying around in the shadows and waiting for the perfect time to strike? He was a walking time bomb and would not hesitate to blow up at the least expected time. If only things really went as planned, if only. "Maria?" Jackson called out with questions written all over his face, it was obvious that wasn't the first time he called her, she had been lost in her thoughts. "Are you okay?""Yeah, yeah- sorry," she

Mi Amor~

She had completely forgotten about Harry, it felt like he was just someone in the background and when she was with whom she actually wanted, everything about him fader before her eyes, she had even forgotten to inform him that she wouldn't be home. Humans were born with the natural instinct of selfishness, putting their needs first and disregarding everything else as soon as their desire came into play. It made her feel terribly guilty and that tiny voice in her head ceaselessly explained how much of a terrible person she was. Maria shuffled her feet against the ticklish rug. Was she to tell Jackson that it was at Harry's she had stayed for the past few weeks? He wasn't aware that Harry liked her, if he did, their relationship might go down the drain, she couldn't bear the weight of that — being the reason why happily ever afters was scarce. But if she wanted to keep this man, honestly should come first."Yesterday when I left, why'd you ask?" Talk about the most annoying way to revea

Andrew.

Mi Amor, synonymous with trouble in the well. Her brain yelled, trouble! Danger! Don't go closer. Maria's whole body shook as she moved to the package, fear eating up every part of her. She felt like she could break if she moved without caution, her bones ached. The spinning sensation her head replayed made the ground wobbly, as though she walked on foam. She crouched and with quivering fingers, she picked up the package, her hands wouldn't work the way they normally would, she felt like paper, limp and lifeless with a grip only strong enough to tear wet serviettes. Whoever had dropped the packager would have passed through security, and for him to have come to the highest floor, it scared her even more. It was Andrew no doubt, no one else knew or addressed her as that. Maria felt sick to he stomach as she took the package inside, leaning on the thick walls for support as she walked. She set it down on the table, it contained something, right? And she should check whatever that was.

"Oh, I see. Nice to meet you, I'm Jones Jackson, but then you probably already know." He said calmly. I am also the guy you may have told your problems to but that doesn't matter now. The words he didn't say.Sean cleared his throat, "He is very new in the industry, and surprisingly, he was vouched for by one of the producers. He does stunts too, so I figured he'd come in handy. Jackson shot the guy whom he now learnt to address as Andrew, a piercing gaze. He looked nothing like him, facially. His jaws were squared and it looked as though he could lift weights with them. His eyes fell on his broad shoulders and biceps, they were complimented by the brown T-shirt he wore. Jackson could see where the idea of their semblance came from, it was in the physique, although Jackson was taller, the similarities couldn't be disregarded. Jackson wanted to ask how Andrew got here or why he now seemed to be closer after they had thought they would never meet again. But he couldn't, could he? Becau

The double.

She was curled up in a ball on the large bed, feeling sorry for herself as the mental admonishment went on. She had promised herself she was going to tell him. He looked so happy, so happy that it made her glad knowing she was a reason for someone's happiness, knowing she wasn't ruining it as usual. Andrew 2

Attention guys! I'm going to dedicate this one chapter to Andrew since he finally came into play. I've been curious about what goes on inside that head of his, and I thought, well- maybe you are too. I'd write it in the first-person point of view. Also, note that this chapter may be shorter than the others. Thank you for reading! — she was having the life that I never could have provided, does that make me incompetent, or her a cheating lying whore? I had clearly underestimated her, then again, it's not every day you hear that your pawn was getting married to the top celebrity in the United States of America. It made me feel so small. I've spent my entire life working, relentless

My nemesis has a name.

Her eyes began to blur as the figure approached them, she hadn't seen him till Jackson talked and that was the last thing she heard about from the stinging screech that went off in her ears, then the world fell to silence, all of this as she sat. Waves of nausea hit Maria, so hard that she could collapse and a cold sweat began to tickle down her face from her forehead. Her body felt limp, rid of all functions, it scared her how a fault in the mind affected every other part, her hands wouldn't move, and neither would her leg. She could feel the tears welling up in her eyes, her nemesis was finally here. It had a name, Andrew. It had caught up with her even though she ran as fast as she could. The world was indeed small, how else would she explain Andre working with Jackson, and the universe was being unfair to her because it allowed him back into her space, after all the fight? At the sight of him, focusing and refocusing, all she felt was a faint cold fear, it slid down her spine

Harry probably knows.

SEVEN HOURS EARLIER.She disappeared and took his reasoning along with it. It happened after he mentioned his double, his thoughts were hard to contain, had he done anything wrong? Maria looked like she had seen a ghost, Jackson had never seen that kind of fear in anyone's eyes in a while, it was menacing. It made him remember how his mother had that same look on her face anything they heard the door knob rattle or anytime his father's car pulled into the garage. There was always something to talk about. Something for him to get angry about or something to hit her about, Maria mirrored that look and it shook him, even after she yelled, he couldn't quite get himself together. Andrew must have noticed how disorganized he looked, he had only a minute to pull himself together and chase after her. When he did, she had disappeared. The set wasn't exactly a castle, it was a mansion although wide but he couldn't have swallowed a person up that quickly. Like she was a needle in the haystack, J

Contract.

ATTENTION!Hellooooo, you probably noticed the decrease in the length of the chapters, aye~Well, I have exams going on and I still try to upload every day. I'm sorry for the inconsistencies in the word count. The good news is...my exams are ending soon and I can't wait to write as much as I want to!Thank you so much for reading! *heart heart*~~Maria thought she could, that it'd be as easy as saying her own name, she already practiced it over and over in her head. 'Your double is my nemesis from Spain,' she'd say, 'he has no good intentions and he is an irresponsible jerk who hit me and saw nothing wrong with it. He also tried to kill my dreams, so please, protect me from all of this. Shelter me.' And he'd pull her into a hug and kiss her forehead. Then he'd swear never to leave her side. It was easy, like ABC but now it felt like saying it backward, there was no right way to go about it and there could be too many mistakes, one mistake meant destabilizing the whole of the proces

Busted.

You never know what your biggest fears are till they begin to manifest right before your eyes, and you stand there, limp and partially lifeless, hoping to disappear because you rather would than stay and see how painstakingly slow things unravel. She wasn't supposed to be here, not by herself. The hospital was miles away, how was she here and why did she hear only that part of the conversation? Jackson watched his mother crumble against the wall as she repeated the question."What marriage contract?" Slower, gentler now, she winced and placed her hand on her chest like there was too much pain there. His mouth dropped but he couldn't speak. His tongue would not work and neither would his brain, it had come to bite him back, hard and unexpectedly. Jackson forgot about the dishonesty behind his story, he couldn't ever imagine her learning about the truth — at least, not this way. Not this way. Time seemed to have still for them, his eyes flicked to Maria, her dry eyes were beginning to
