Two hours later, I sit in Kelly’s living room, staring at the television, as I wonder where in the hell Alexander is. “Where could he be?” I murmur under my breath as I nurse one killer of a headache and try my best to not throw up. Glancing out the window at the sun as it begins to set, I watch the golden tinged treetops glow against the blue of the clear sky, before the sun all but disappears behind the tree line.
