A Half-Pure was seen as an unlucky person with bad luck because of two things, it never occurred in good circumstances and it was a demotion in power. It was a situation where a Pure with powers is met with a certain condition that reduces his/her power and possibly eliminates or reduces his/her transformation ability. Pures were generally more powerful and had stronger powers than Ancients. A situation, when one becomes a Half-Pure, reduced their power, making it so that they would only be above Ancients with a slight difference and not a whole level higher than Ancients again.
