Ashton!Wake up, Dad.Daddy.Sobs.......Dad. Wake up, Please. In his unconscious state, he heard the constant sobs, but his mind refused to cooperate with his senses. His body hurt badly, yet that undying urge to open his lashes didn't subside. He wanted to sleep for long; so long that all the tension would vanish away when he would wake up.The sobs increased, so did the pleadings, until he felt someone shaking his forearm.Dad wake up or I'll never talk to you. I'll go away...........like Mom. Sobs.....As soon as the words registered in his brain; blood started to flow violently in his body; the force of the warning so strong, so furious that he snapped his eyes open, and sat up straight with a jerk, screaming for his only daughter."Alishaaa!"His anxious eyes roamed around the entire room, alerting the occupants who were waiting for him to gain consciousness for two days now."Ash!" Alison, Derek, and Rex immediately stepped forward.Rex sat beside him on the bed and handed a gl

The horror that surrounded Ashton’s pupils was unexplainable. In the dead silence of the night, the seed of hatred that was spreading in his entire body after listening to the small piece of information was unstoppable. He felt his body staggering back with the massive shock that he felt running in his body; his one hand held the doorknob tightly, while the other went on his forehead as he felt a sharp pain in his head.Derek immediately supported him, and he shook his head in denial, gritting his teeth in anger.“I won’t leave her, Derek. She’s going to pay the price for snatching my daughters’ mother from her.” He mumbled holding his brother in laws hand tightly and piercing his dark eyes in Derek’s light ones.“Ash don’t do anything reckless for now. I’m not sure if it is her only. For all I know, I could be wrong because my memory of that time is lost. We can’t just accuse her suddenly, and ruin what we’ve established so far.” He tried to explain, and seeing the stern looks on Ash

The sun rays haven’t touched the horizon yet when a shiny black Jaguar halted in front of the lonely area surrounded by thick bushes. The grass covered the land in its entirety, while the smell of rain still felt fresh to the person who got down the car and made its way inside the bushes until he came across the shiny black stone.Kneeling, he presented the bouquet of ‘Forget-Me-Not’ flowers on the stone beside the already kept bouquet. He scanned the surroundings before turning his attention to the stone once again, and for a moment, he closed his eyes and caressed the surface of the stone. He felt his eyes welling up but before he could give in to his tears, he heard the bushes being moved. Alerted, he concentrated on the feet coming near him; his one hand slowly moved to his stomach, as he slowly traced his way inside his jacket pocket to retrieve his gun in case it was an enemy. He unlocked the gun with such expertise that the sound wasn’t made, but his safety was assured. The figu

After a thirty minutes’ drive of anxiety and excitement when the car halted in front of the vacant land, Ashton gauged the reaction of each of the occupants sitting in the car. They all were as stupefied as he was the first time, he visited the place. Questions written over their faces, but there were no answers for it but when Shane opened the land with his remote and escorted them inside, Ashton knew from their expressions they considered it a sight which was worthy of their time. More like it was an adventure with a haunted house to a certain extent but, they were at a magnificent glass house.Further, thinking of the classy owner, Simone Thompson, he realized her initial silence on being confronted about Alicia was a confirmation that she had an inkling to his ex-wife, but a terrified part of him feared for Derek’s memory to be right. And if it was the case, he will never leave the woman unharmed. He might not love Alicia or he is attracted to Simone but he will avenge Alicia’s dea

After covering the drive for two hours, twenty-five minutes to Budapest, frustrated at her new enemy slash sudden admirer, Simone sat hidden under the desk later in the evening. She’d have loved to run her mind more to dig out the plans running in Ashton’s head, but she was too tired to even keep her eyes open. She had slept throughout, and once they were in the shelter of the private cottage house, she had stormed into one of the rooms, and hid herself because she didn't want that irritating man to see her red nose. So much for having a normal cold because she was exposed to the late-night shoots. "I was better off as mafia only; this modelling is such a pain in my a**," she cursed under her breath wiping her nose. She sneezed for the millionth time and while getting up, she ended up hitting her head on the desk making her wince. "What the fuck! Did I just wince like those dumb girls’?" She swore and in one swift move, she was up on her feet with that confident look taking over her
