Lana’s POV “Another vision?” The question comes out more aggressively than I intended. I couldn't remember it, yet it seemed like Blake had seen it. “It would seem so, yes.” Blake mutters. But I see how he watches Logan. There was something they weren’t telling me. It had to be something to do with why I had been tied down. “Lana, it means things have changed.” Blake tells me. “They have? But that still doesn’t explain why you tied me down or why Leo is here.” Blake starts to tell me something and Logan tells him to shut up. They glare at each other and it’s Leo that tells me the truth. He tells me how a witch had taken over me. Was using me to see what was happening with Blake and Logan. Logan tries to shut him up but Leo continued anyway. “It’s someone you are connected to Lana. Someone related to you.” Leo smiles. “They had to do what they could to contain you.” “Freya?” I ask, shocked by what I was hearing. “Yes” Blake and Leo speak in unison while Logan shouts over them.

Blakes POV“Finally decided to show up then!” I snap at Calvin as he saunters into the room.“I didn’t shift. Didn’t see the point.” Calvin retorts, but he focuses on Logan. “So this must be the Alpha of Alpha’s. There is not much to you, is there? I thought you might be... bigger!”“Watch your mouth, This is my pack, not some half arsed pack of Blakes.” Calvin shrugs his shoulders, turning his attention to me. “Where is she?”“Freya is out cold, but we think it might be someone else instead.” I mutter. I couldn't believe that this Abby had made a blood bond with a wolf.“So you called me over here for a wild goose chase?”“Calvin, pack it in!” I growled, warning him that he was pushing it too far. I didn’t care that he was my younger brother. I was only willing to put up with so much.Calvin finally shuts his mouth, leaning against the wall as he observes Logan and I. “Can I go then?” “No, You stay put.” Logan snaps, “Maybe you can knock some sense into your brother before I do!” C

Logan’s POV“That’s what you are bothered about? Not the fact that Lana agreed to the Blood Bond?”“It’s done!” I mutter. Was I happy about it? No. Do I want her to punish her for it? No. Who knows when this happened. Who knows why she even did it! “It doesn’t help her right now, look at her!”She was still pacing back and forth. Her hands on either side of her head, like she was trying to focus. Like she was trying to fight what is happening to her. Like she knew Abby was trying to take over her.“She doesn’t want this. She is trying to stop it.” I mutter. If Lana was just going to let Abby takeover she wouldn't be in this position. She would just let it happen.Blake looks at me like I was mad.“Think what you want Blake, but I don’t think she knew what the Blood Bond meant. I don’t think she knew what Abby wanted from her. I think she was tricked!”“Why would she agree to it then?”“I don’t know, why don’t you look into your crystal ball and tell me something.” I snap at him.“It d

Lana’s POVI had no idea where I was. The last thing I could remember was speaking to Leo in Logan’s house, shortyl after Calvin had arrived. It was strange though. I couldn't really remember what we were talking about. Now I was surrounded by tall trees, their branches overlapping one another. Thick bushes between the trees grew wide. I couldn’t even see the sky. I couldn’t tell what time of the day it was, all I knew was that I was alone.I sit on a fallen tree, trying to gather my thoughts. Running my fingers over my neck, I let out a sign. My marks still sat on my skin. They didn’t hurt and there was no pain in my chest so I couldn’t be too far away. But it also meant that I wasn't having a vision.A raindrop hits my cheek and runs down over my skin. Wiping it away, I notice the dried blood under my nails and across the backs of my hands. Smelling my fingers, I knew the dried blood belonged to Blake. What had I done to him?I couldn’t stay here forever, I had to move, I had to fin

Logan’s POVI had put everyone on high alert. The entire pack were looking for her. She couldn’t have gotten far. She had maybe a couple minutes head start.Blake, Leo and Calvin were all out helping to search for her as well. Blake had shifted into his large grey wolf. Taking off into the forest in the hopes of picking up her scent. Leo and Calvin were searching the grounds. I should be helping to look. Lana was my mate, but I found myself making my way to my parent’s bedroom. The door had been sealed up shortly after my fathers death. I was the only one with a key and I didn’t want any of the objects inside falling into the wrong hands. I didn’t want anyone to touch something that I wasn’t ready to deal with.Pulling the bundle of keys from my pocket. I slip them round the loop, searching for the right one. Pushing it into the lock. The key clicks into place, turning easily as the three large bolts retreat back inside the door. Even as a kid I was never really allowed in there, not

Logan’s POV“What did you do?” Freya’s bright blue eyes dart between me and Leo’s body. “Did you kill him?”It was a poitnless statement. It was obvious that he was dead. The man wasn't moving and my blade and shirt were covered in his blood.“Yes!” I speak very matter of factly. The blade was still in my hand. My fingers locked tightly around the hilt. Freya’s eyes drop to the blood soaked blade.“Where did you get that?”I gaze at her, waiting for her next move. She was probably planning on attacking me. She was probably expecting me to kill her. It would be a good thing to think that way. She had caused nothing but problems.“Family heirloom!” I mutter, wiping Leo’s blood from the blade.“That’s Lana’s.” Her blue eyes lock with mine. “How did you get Lana’s blade?”“How do you know about Lana’s blade?” I fire the question back at her. As far as I was aware, Lana hadn’t discussed her blade with anyone. She barely spoke to me about it.“I’m not stupid Logan. When Hallen was talking a

Lana’s POV“Don’t do this Kendra. I will never be the face of the Blood Pack. No matter what, I would rather be dead.” The light spirals in her hand. The light reflecting in her brown eyes.“Hmm. Abby did say as much. Do you believe that we will just let you go. Lana, I have more power than you will ever know. You can’t fight me and win. You will do what I say.”“I didn’t say I would fight you. I’m just saying that I won’t help you. Maybe if you had been a better mother I would be more inclined to help you.”“You are not very respectful.” She snarls at me. Her top lip curled up.“I’m respectful of those that deserve it. Those that have earned it. You threw me away like I was nothing. How would you like it if I did it to you?” I was trying to buy myself sometime while I figured something out. But the truth was I was outnumbered and outpowered. I couldn’t shift without dying. I was unable to link Logan or Blake. I was as weak as a human.I stare at the spiralling light in Kendra’s hands

Blake’s POV“You know you shouldn't panic too much about him?” I try to make it a joke but I see how well it doesn’t go down. She glares at me with those brown eyes, pressing her lips firmly into a thin line.“Why do you do that?” Her arms fold across her chest“Do what?”“It doesn’t matter.” She mutters turning to look out the car window.“If you think it matters Lana, then it matters. Talk to me." Those brown eyes fall back on me, “I can’t help it you know.”I knew what she was talking about. She meant the mate bond and I knew I couldn’t change that. It would make her feel things for him even if I didn’t like it. It also had me questioning what she felt for me. She never spoke about it.“We are heading back to Lonecrown now, okay.”“Thanks” she mumbles and looks back at the witch in the back seat. “What about her?”“Personally, I would kill her, but it’s not my call and we have the little problem of the Blood Bond.”“It’s sort of like a mate bond isn’t it. If Logan dies, I die and

Lana’s POVWe were a million miles away from the person I once was. The girl that had been desperately hunting down the one man that we thought could stop everything. The man that happened to be my mate. The man that I was now somehow preparing to stop by hunting him again.Calvin stays close, he looks around, searching the bedroom before letting me in.“It’s good!” He mutters, ushering me into the room.“Calvin, I’m not ready for this. For whatever is coming.”“No one will be. There is no point in me telling you that everything will be okay. Because honestly, I don't know.”"I don't know much about the Blood Pack, other than they were bad.""It was before our time, but none of it was good. They eventually took themselves away, lived a different live. But ultimately, they had control. They would have hated humans living among wolves."I nod my head at him. He was normally so calm, unbothered. But finding out that Logan was gone seemed to have him on edge. It had us all on edge.“You’r

Blake’s POVFive days had passed and there had been no sign of him. It was like he had fallen off the Earth. I sent people out everyday. But there wasn’t even a single piece of evidence that suggested he had returned home or that he had come anywhere near my pack.Lana wasn’t herself either. She would wander the house. Often deep in thought. I tried to talk to her but it was like talking to a brick wall. Anything that I said just didn’t sink in. Sometimes I would find her in a corner, muttering to Freya. They would stop talking the moment they saw me.I didn’t like the witch being here, but I had very little choice in the matter. Calvin had already marked the witch. If I threw her out, then I would have problems with my brother and Lana. It was a shitty scenario that I was trying my hardest to ignore. Aiming to focus on the bigger problem of Logan.More and more of my pack from Europe turned up everyday. New homes were constantly being built on the land. It was expanding quickly, but
