ROSE POVWe have been staying with Max for four days now. I still haven't said a word to him, because I didn't know what to say to him. The tension between us was so obvious, but no one else wanted to say anything about it. He had tried speaking to me, but I hadn't given him ears. I hadn't been feeling too well either. I felt nauseous, and really tired all day, so I spent most of my time in my room, resting. Jason, on the other hand, was having the time of his life. He had spent every time he had with Max, basically being a nuisance to Zayne and I. Max had bought him over with all the toys a child would want in his lifetime. It annoyed me to no end that they were getting along, but I couldn't exactly do anything about it. I would just seem like the witch if I took Jason away from Max. MAX POV My stomach grumbled. I hadn't eaten anything for hours because I had been at meetings since I had woken up at 7.
