Just as before, then the scene changed. Hailey is sitting on a chair, chained and looking almost dead, her head hanging forward. She was pale with dry blood around her on the floor, there was so much blood, she had slashes on her wrists. She looks up with an effort and tries to look me in the eye. Her one eye was swollen shut. Her lip had a cut, and even her soft curly hair was a mess. It was dirty, and she looked abused. Was it me? Was this what I did to her? No, Rebecca said that she was getting better. Looking around, I saw that I was standing in an old abandoned house. Its windows were shattered with curtains that were torn.
