Nelson's PovThe room fell dead silent, my eyes leaving my sister and falling on her surprised face of Melissa."Alright" Anabelle muttered getting up to her feet, she placed a hand on Melissa's lap, her face filled with a soft smile, "I will be back later" she noted, gave the maid a sign, "Clean this up once she is done with her tea, for now, let's go, you will have to come back later"Saying this, together with the maid, I watched Anabelle walk out of the room leaving me and Melissa alone. Melissa didn't look pleased that I cut short their discussion but the thoughts I had buried in my head ever since her attack couldn't get off my mind."You shouldn't have done that, '' Melissa said, breaking the silence between us."I need us to talk""Why can't it wait for later? I and your sister were having a good time and you just decided to ruin it with your presence" she muttered looking so displeased."My presence ruined it?""Of course Nelson, I don't know what you want to discuss with me

Melissa's POVThe next day came pretty fast, I woke up only to find the other side of the bed empty, there was no grave of Nelson in the room and I couldn't help but feel very relieved about it.Patricia came in, helped me with my bath and a few minutes later, I found myself staring at my reflection in the mirror as Patricia gently brushed my hair down."You look very beautiful" she complimented as I couldn't help but smile at her words. I was already used to Patricia compliments, she doesn't hesitate to compliment me in any situation she finds herself, something I appreciate a lot."Thanks" I replied with a fixed smile on my face."You look beautiful too," I admitted."No Ma'am, I don't" she shook her head in disapproval, "Most werewolves in the pack think that I am very unattractive" she replies, a look of sadness buried in her eyes.I couldn't help but turn around with wonder," Why will they think like that? You are indeed beautiful and you have to believe me when I say it" I admit

Melissa's POVGently, Anabelle let go of her arms around me, her face brightened up a bit and to my surprise, a chuckle escaped her lips."Alright, enough about me…" she paused scanning around the room."It's the early hours of the day, where is my brother?" She asked, giving me a soft smile.I sighed deeply with rolled eyes, "You know that I am not in the best position to answer any question relating to your brother, you know how things are between us and I will be the last person your brother will inform about his whereabouts" I noted giving her a firm look.Anabelle shook her head, her eyes still scanning around, "It's so surprising how you two relate while talking nicely to each other. Well, I overheard some guards saying that my brother and Conri went on a mission the previous evening to rescue some of our captured guard"I turned to her very surprised, immediately, the incident that transpired between me and Nelson flashed through my mind."I guess that's where your brother got

Nelson's POVI walked down the hallway with so many emotions. At first, I couldn't believe that I just did that to Melissa. The look on her face made me really restless. What have I just done? Why did I do that?I am not like thisI am not a beast!I let out a deep breath, very angry at myself, I walked towards my office unable to assert what just occurred. I never had the intention to do to her what I did, initially, All I planned was to have a talk with her, to convince her into agreeing into the plan of pretending to the elders that we are now together so that I can have my position as Alpha.I never stopped the discussion she was having with my sister all for my selfish need.I am not a rapist!I will never be!But I just couldn't explain how I felt the moment I pinned her to the wall. It was like a whole new Spirit took control of me wanting me to claim her that moment.Phoenix growls at my thoughts.Yes she is mine, Melissa is mine. We are both legally married and ever since she

NELSON'S POVShe is right, very right. The job of the Luna is a very tactful one, how is a human going to follow me into war? Melissa isn't a wolf that can shift and fight, she can't even protect herself and was almost killed twice if not that I was always present to save her. There has to be a mistake somewhere, maybe the Moon goddess made a mistake, it should be because I don't understand how this could play out. Although I could admit that Melissa does have a Fierce fire burning inside of her but I need someone brave enough to lead the pack into war and not a weakling."You should have thought so well about this before getting married. Now, you are stuck on making a human you're Luna ...." Viviana paused, she held my face, this time, there was a strange expression on her face."What if your father lied?" She muttered to my terror."Lied? How, Viviana?" I tried not to get angry at her."Come on Nelson, don't see it the wrong way but we both know that these started with your father a
