LUTHER POV. As I thought about Whitney, there was a scowl on my face as I lay on the bed staring at the ceiling. I usually get angry anytime I think about her. I didn't want the thought of Whitney to worsen my already bad mood so, I quickly banished her thought from my mind. My mind drifted to how I met Jaya, my mate, and my Luna. LUTHER'S POV As Jaya lay on top of me kissing me, I was bewildered and was struggling to get up but she pinned me down and her tongue was darting in my mouth. I grabbed her waist and tried to raise her from my body but couldn't as she pinned me down with so much power. I was surprised that she had so much power considering her slender figure. "What is going on here!" I heard Liza, my girlfriend's voice. Immediately, Jaya rolled from my body and I sat up panting. I looked at Jaya and she was staring at my girlfriend with a faint smile playing across her face. LUTHER'S POV I let go of Jaya who was in my arms as I saw Liza's blood spattered on the sand. I was filled with horror and anxiety. All of a sudden, my knees felt weak and I sat on the ground staring at Liza's blood. Fear gripped my heart and I prayed she shouldn't die. Although Liza provoked me and Jaya, I knew it was my fault. If I had apologized to her when she demanded an apology, perhaps, her anger would have abated and I would have just found a way to get Jaya's contact and left with Liza and go back to join my friends. I will then later reach out to Jaya without Liza knowing. On second thoughts, when Liza was insulting me and Jaya and she broke from my arms and rushed at Liza, I should have held her back and shouldn't have stood watching Jaya beat Liza. Whichever way, I took all the blame for letting the matter escalate which has ended in tragedy. Now the deed has been done and there is nothing I can do than to hope and pray that Liza doesn't die or has brain damage.

LUTHER'S POV I was jolted from my thoughts by the sound of the doorbell. I averted my gaze and looked at the door. The door slowly swung open and Jaya walked in elegantly like a queen. My eyes swept over her. Her ginger hair cascaded over her shoulder and she looked a little older compared to how she looked a few years ago when I met her. She had slightly added weight after the birth of our second daughter. She was wearing a black A-line dress slightly above her knees and a pair of black shimmering shoes. On her ears were dangling emerald earrings and around her neck was an emerald necklace that complemented her sinister-looking green eyes. I was a little surprised cos it was obvious that she wanted to go out. I wondered where she was going to. I watched her as she walked toward me with a faint smile on her face. LUTHER'S POV I was surprised when my guard told me that Janet, Whitney's friend wants to see me. Why does she want to see me? I wondered. I have known Janet since we were kids and we attended the same Primary School and the same High School including Whitney and my siblings.
