An hour later, I stood at the border of the pack I once lived in, leaning down on my knees, panting heavily. I stayed there for about five minutes, waiting to catch my breath before heading into the pack. Thankfully there were no guards at the border, well that was quite strange and a bit risky for them though. I found my way into the familiar streets, heading to my father's house. Nothing changed since I left, just the same quiet place. I ignored the stares of the passers-by, who recognized me, and kept my head up high. In a few minutes, I was standing on the porch of the house I once called home. I pressed my lips together, trying to suppress the emotional feeling rising in me.
