Maxine’s POV Brett pushed me inside an office. I guess it is mine. ‘Funny enough. I suddenly had an office on my own.’ “Your office smells like coffee,” he mumbled as he pushed me with his hands on my shoulder. I skimmed my eyes around. It looks like a typical office with a comfortable chair in the corner, laptop on the wooden table, pocket calculator, book cases, file cabinets, telephone line, business cards, overhead and work lighting, couch for the client seats, center table, plants in pots, recycle bin, alarm system, fire extinguisher and first aid kit. “But there’s something missing,” Brett murmured.
