Amelia had no other option now as she could no longer go out from the entrance she came in. She had to find a way to hide from her vampire pursuers inside the hotel but how would she get past the receptionists? She wasn't with her credit card and even if she was she was sure she couldn't afford a room in a place like this. Her best bet is to try to sneak her way past them into the main hotel. She already had her eyes set on the elevator but executing her plans would be very difficult as she must first pass the receptionists stand before she gets to the elevator and the two receptionists at the stand a male and female, had their eyes on her like hawks. No time to think it through though as the vampires finally entered into the lobby and Amelia just hurriedly walked to the direction of the elevator while stylishly hiding herself at the back of the passersby to get away from the eyes of the receptionists and It seemed her plan was about to work for a moment as she had managed to bypass t

Amelia stood by the door of Damon's bedroom for some lengthy seconds before entering as she was using that time to self-discipline herself, more like trying to get her feelings and emotions in check so she doesn't do anything stupid with Damon that she might regret later. She had unintentionally told him she loves him and she doesn't know what silly thing her body would do next, especially sleeping inside the same room with him for the night. As she slowly entered the bedroom the first thing she saw was the huge, king size bed at the middle of the room then her eyes drifted to the side of the room where Damon was standing, staring outside the window. She didn't think he knew she had come in because she was pretty quiet with her steps plus he was backing her. She slowly walked further in the room and stood close by the bed unsure of what to do next, whether to sit on the bed or lay down on it?“There is hot water running, if you want to bathe," Damon suddenly said.So he knew she was i

I felt my heart sink deeper in my chest as the man caught hold of the baseball bat. However just then a vehicle suddenly drove recklessly fast to our direction with its headlight fully temporarily blinding my eyes and for a second I thought the car would run me over but thankfully it stopped just before that could happen and the door immediately opened up.I had to blink my eyes twice when I saw who the driver was.“P.. Professor Collins?"“Leave," He spoke calmly to the men but with the way they shook and became submissive it felt like his words had some unseen power.Cowering their heads the men scamper out of the scene. What just happened here? I couldn't get my head around it.“Are you alright?" The prof said and I could only afford to nod my head as my brain was still booting to speak.“You shouldn't be out here by this time," he said and I could sense a bit of scolding in his speech. Finally I found my voice: “She needs help," I pointed to the girl who was now seated motionless

“Thank you for the ride, Professor." I thank Professor Collins sincerely as I alighted down from his vehicle parked in front of my house “It's nothing. Should I walk you to your door?" He asked, making an attempt to come down from his vehicle.“No, no. That won't be necessary, thank you. You have already done more than enough for me today sir," I said and he nodded.“Alright then. Stay safe and we will see tomorrow in school," he said and I smiled warmly at him.“Thank you, drive safe professor." I greeted goodbye and he nodded before driving off.Exhaling, I walked into my apartment. While inside my apartment I took off my shoes to feel more relaxed and I started reminiscing about the event that took place as I sat on the sofa. How I stupidly went out in the middle of the night to search for Damon and how I also stupidly thought I could be a hero and save that lady from those two men. If not for professor Collins my night would have been a complete disaster. I am really grateful th

Amelia and Damon were coming out of the hotel on their way to the woods when Amelia picked up a scent of a night walker, not one at least five and she instantly became in a state of panic.“They are here.. Nightwalkers," she informed Damon looking over her shoulders to see exactly where they are but they were hidden from view..”I know," Damon said and the calmness in his voice bought a kind of security to Amelia that she didn't understand and just then an ice cream truck was slowly driving past.“It's been long I had one of those. Would you care for some?" Damon said much to Amelia's amazement as she wondered how he was still so cool and composed to the point of wanting to buy ice cream when their life is under threat.“Y..Yes I guess." “Good then. Let's go," Damon said, then walked to the truck and Amelia hurriedly followed him from behind. As Damon was busy ordering for the ice cream Amelia was stylishly watching out as she was still expecting that the vamps would come out from th
