TWENTY ONE

Logan and I are like a wolf and sheep arguing over matters of social interaction. I'm the black sheep of the family, and somehow this wolf moves in and starts telling me to do things to please him, but I will not have it. I was also a wolf wearing sheep's clothing because I had to hide from everyone who wanted my head for murder.I was watching Logan walking towards the window. I let out a tired groan, brushing my hair back. I saw the leather jacket on the bed, making me moan. I grabbed it and turned. "Hey, you forgot your-"Just when I was about to call out for Logan to get his jacket because I did not want it anymore, he cut me off when his lips were on mine. I made a noise as he crushed our mouths together. I tried pulling back, but Logan had his arm around my waist, so I took steps back again, hitting the wall. I dragged him with me. He locked our lips together and sealed it well because there was no way I was getting out of it, and I wanted to kill myself for this, but I kissed h

I stayed on the back of the mattress as Logan and I were in that starting moment that I got the feeling he wanted more and hated to say this, but I had the same feeling. When he leaned down, closing it for another kiss, I heard the front door shut and Ares's voice echoing in the house. "Effie! I brought IHOP. Got your favorite Bacon and Cheddar cheese omelet." "Shit," I hissed, stumbling out of bed, grabbing my underwear and pants off the floor, and putting them back on. "Logan, you need to leave," I said frantically as I buttoned my shirt. "Your brother's home?" He asked with glitter in his eyes as if someone famous was there. That would be my brother. "Yes, now get," I hoarsely whispered. "Can't I see him? I wanted to get his autograph," he smiles. "My brothers would flip I get to meet the famous God of War." "No, because you brothers almost had him murdered," I whispered, locking my door. "All we said he was the best fighter," he sounded confused with the whole thing that had

The next day I decided to do a little grocery shopping since the snacks at my house were starting to disappear, and I didn't need to go to Sherlock Holmes solving crimes where the salted potato chips crumbs lead to the perpetrator, Ares' room. I rode the bus and headed to the Asian supermarket to pick out my favorite snacks to gobble on and hide from the muncher at home. I had to hide it well, or else his nose would suspect my room for protecting the suspect. I walked through the aisle of varieties of chips, cookies, and candy, grabbing my favorites and others that seemed interesting to eat. I was looking for my favorite strawberry Pockey and found one last box waiting for me to catch and be fed. I outstretched my arm, ready to grab; my fingers touched the cardboard when at the same time, another set of fingers grasped the other side. I snapped my head to the owner of those fingers when I found myself staring at those blue eyes. I let a low growl at that person who only looked at me.

This morning I felt like shit.Last night, coming back from L.A. I couldn't enjoy myself, especially when Lily tagged along. I was not comfortable. At least everyone was having a good time. On the other hand, with Logan always ticking me off and trying to get me agitated enough, I wanted to leave. Lily was quiet, sitting next to Liam while they flirted, giggling and smiling. I wanted to gag. But I can tell Lily likes the guy during that time, and I have no say in it. Liam is friendly, unlike someone."Effie!""Oh my god, Lily," I jerked as I closed my locker and sneered at her. I wasn't surprised she called me by my nickname. Only my siblings called me. "Can you not do that.""Sorry," She asked curiously. "I mean, you been jumpy since this morning. Oh, wait, maybe because of what happened yesterday."I sighed.I looked side to side at the person that caused me to act like this since he gave me the best climax I ever had, and I did not want him to pop up like a ghost to remind me of th

"Now then," Principal Brown took his seat as we all were seated on the five chairs in front of us. Liam sat between Paris and me so she won't have to latch at me or the other way around when I almost choked her to death. Lily sat next to Liam; I was with Logan, who held my hand. "Can you explain to me why I caught you two fighting? I can never tolerate violence here on school grounds. Outside I don't care what you do, but fighting in school is different. Now, explain."Paris abruptly stood from her chair. "As you all witness how this bitch can kill a person with one touch," pointing at me. "She needs to leave this school."I winched. My hand was squeezed by Logan's once he felt me stiffen."Paris, sit down," Principal Brown demanded, and she did. "I don't know what was going on. I had called the Wolfe brothers to come here and discuss what they have found.""Aphrodite killing her parents?" Paris questioned, her legs and arms crossed at the same time."Enough, Paris," the Principal was

Lily gave me a text last night, finally with my new replacement phone hooked on the laptop to restore all my stuff. She has told me that she got the part because most of the girls were terrible as her. But she only got the role because Mrs. Bloomfield said she was the only girl who showed up. As for Aladdin and Genie goes to two boys, Robert Lindsey and Bruce Turner. Also, for the role of the Sultan and Jafar, Martin Sears and Omar Monroe. The rest of the cast has been put up, and I got the part to be one of the girls' harems where Aladdin is running away from the palace guards for stealing.I was happy that she got the part and will support her as an extra on stage. Lily sent me the script through email and decided to practice our roles at her house today.I left the house with both of my siblings out and pivoted my feet to the right making my feet pace past the Wolfe's home. "Hey, fairy princess," I halted," where are you off to on this fine Saturday morning?"I shut my eyes shut an

"I want to give them more than just a choke," I focus my attention on Lily's dad once he made himself on the floor next to us, sitting Indian-style."So, good," he quieted, then moaned after a second bite. "Lily told me you went all WWE on Paris Blake. I'm glad you did it, girl.""Dad, don't encourage her," his daughter grunts. "Be a parent.""What?" Nicky said as insulted. "I know Paris's father; he is a mall security guard with a fetish for men in drags." He winked.Lily and I looked at each with wide eyes staring back at Nicky."Well, I better start dinner and go grocery shopping while Daddy is still out with his buddies." Nicky rose from the floor."Dad," Lily called out with difficulty preventing him from leaving. "Are you saying Paris's dad is...gay?"He chuckled, sitting back down, biting his glossy bottom lips and acting weird. "Oh, honey, you know, before I met Wayne at the nightclub in LA. I met Paris's dad. He and I-""Wait!" Lily cut her dad off and expressed a sour face.

Another day, another dreary day.Leaving the Peters home, I thanked the lovely gay couple and Nicky's breakfast and said my goodbyes to Lily, hoping for another sleepover. I enjoyed hanging out at another girl's home. I'm glad I will be able to be a part of myself from my past, thanks to Lily.I walked to the bus and sat on the bench, waiting for transportation. As I sat, I was glued to my phone like everyone else when someone took the spot next to me. I would ignore it, but I had to look and see it was a middle-aged man. Dark skin, dark hair with a hint of grey on the side, and he wore clothes that made me feel hotter because of the weather today; cool breeze yet warm.Back to the screen on my phone, looking at open jobs once after graduation that accept high school diploma students and a place of my own would be better."Excuse me." I looked up at the man who spoke with a European accent as he smiled. "May I ask what time it is?"I looked down at my phone and told the time. "It's 11

It always starts with a rocky question that leads to a disastrous argument. "None of your business." I snapped. "And why do you care if I slept over at a guy's house? You don't own me.""I cared because what if he's another dickface who is just being nice to get in your pants, " he argued, and his eyes went dark. "Who is going to save you from another asshole? Not me."This guy is raising my blood pressure, and I want to hit him badly. But there is a 99% chance it won't hurt him, and the 1% feel a pinch. "I could take care of myself. I don't need you to save my ass. I didn't ask you the first time." That I lied, I did pray for help but didn't expect him to come to my rescue."Don't expect me when he pins you down and fucks you from behind."I gasped. "You know what? I'd rather have another guy inside me because clearly, your fingers didn't affect me at all.""Liar," he snarled as he stepped towards me like the animal his last name means. A wolf stalks his prey. "You were enjoying my f
