"Someone wants to see you, your highness," Salvador, the Palace messenger interrupted and Meridith was glad he came on time. She won't have to answer the king's question about her spell book. Damon looked up to Salvador. "Who is it?" His tone was cold. Salvador shifted uncomfortably, revealing the two imperial letters he had at hand. "This was sent by Carlos, your brother, " Salvador answered. Upon hearing this, Damon left Meridith and strode towards Salvador in a haste. His dear brother has written to him after so many weeks. He collected the letter from Salvador immediately. "I will call for you later, Meridith," Damon said and Meridith's panicking reduced. She‘s glad about her momentary victory, all thanks to Salvador. The news of Meridith's wedding in the next five days filled Daisy's ears. Meridith's name rang in her ears wherever she walks to in the Palace. Even at the farm, the other slaves didn't hide their excitement as they were all going to have free food at the King's wedding. The only time they get to eat more is during any festive period or ceremony. As much as Daisy tried to hide her bitterness, she couldn't. Daisy felt herself getting relaxed as Damon rubbed in a circular motion, the same time, he plunged and strained behind her. He only made grunts behind her, not even a moan.
