1. Blue eyes.

"Mommy, I want this!" I automatically shifted my gaze toward my son. Shawn was showing me the chocolate bar in his hand that had his favorite cartoon character as a wrapper. We are currently in the grocery and just happened to pass by the sweets section. I didn't notice that he stopped and picked up a chocolate. "Mommy, buy this for me, please?" Shawn said again, pouting his lips and tactically using his puppy eyes to persuade me. "Shawn," I crouched down so I could look at him eye to eye.Smart parenting suggests to always look at your child's eye whenever you are talking to him. That way, he would feel that his feelings matter."What did I tell you about eating too much chocolate?" I asked gently."Not good," his shoulders dropped, accepting defeat."Then return it. "I'm sorry, Jillian," Aimee apologized while crying. I shook my head and held her both hands. "It's fine. It is my duty to make sure you are safe."  "But they would force you to marry someone you don't even know!"  "I know him," yes, I do. From the internet, of course. From Julia's social media accounts, because she would often flex her billionaire boyfriend in her posts. So, somehow, I knew what Sake Fortalejo looked like.  "But you don't love him, Jillian!" I rolled my eyes. Love was not even in my considerations. I agreed because I was left with no choice. Luciano's men got my sister. How am I supposed to keep running away?  Theodore fixed the situation for us. He paid Luciano that very instant. And just like that, we were freed of the debt we owed Luciano. No more hide and seek and chasing games. But as a result, I am now heavily indebted to my biological father and was obligated to obey his wishes.

Yet here I am, struggling to string words for the first time in my life! I've known for a fact that Julia's fiance was a handsome man. For one, Julia wouldn't choose an ugly guy to spend the rest of her life with.
