*Present day*It was getting dark as Laurel made her way to the palace. She had a little smile on her face. She was also feeling sad because she would have to wait for one whole day before meeting her love, Liam, again. She could not tell anyone about Liam, because she was afraid that any of her enemies could target him to hurt her. And Scarlett would not approve either, she had a strict policy against falling in love with someone from the other realm. Scarlett had changed a lot, ever since she made queen. She had become cold. Scarlett had already told Laurel, Bennett, Mick, Emily and Helen that they were not to fall in love or fraternize with the people of Helmfirth. Laurel didn't understand that logic and neither did the rest of them. Laurel thought that maybe there was some divine wisdom behind that decision but then she fell in love with Liam and she again had the thought that the queen could never know. The light wasn't reaching her face. The throne was placed in an elevated platform and there weren't any torches there. Scarlett stood up and walked a few steps and the light fell on her face.
