I sat there numb for a few minutes. The screams were so filled with pain that it made goosebumps rise on my body. I just couldn't handle the fact that someone was in pain while I sat there. I pulled myself up and slowly rubbed my eyes. One look at the clock said it was 8 in the morning. I had to go to the office and inform Winterlash about all that had happened in the human world.My eyes fell back to the phone and I shivered. I had to do something to forget the phone call, I decided as I took off for my room. I changed into a gray cotton shirt which hung loose on me and buttoned on the front, a pair of tight black slacks and a braided beige belt.
