I still don't believe what the doctor said, even as Jeanne continues crying and I grip him by his collar as I ask again, "Tell me this is all a joke, and you are just playing with me.""This is a matter of life and death, I can't joke about it, I'm really sorry for your loss. JAYSON'S POV"Doctor, please how is she? What happened? Was the surgery successful?" I ask, my mind beating as I wait to hear his response."She's safe." The doctor says and moves to leave but I stop him with a strong grip on his shoulders."What do you mean she's safe. Talk to me, to us, tell us how my wife is faring?"
