Agatha stares at the sleeping figure of Theo on the bed, no real emotions crossing her face. Unlike the hospital room that she received when she came in the Scorpio Venom Society, all plain white, Theo’s is different. There’s a whole forest painted in the walls with baby elephant’s and giraffes and monkeys and every other forest animal, smiling and playing within themselves. Her bed is just the same, and so is her nightgown. And as Agatha sits there staring at her daughter, she feels like she is staring at a younger version of herself.
