*splash* The puddle flew, dropping its scented contents on her. She had jumped out of the road to avoid the speeding car from running her over, yet, the fate she met was comparable. The contents of her bags went flying in different directions, while she crashed to the ground. “Oh God, no!!” She wailed, staring at the food that would have lasted her siblings and her two days, scattered all over. “What to do, what to do?” She kept muttering to herself as she stood up, her soaked clothes, a far cry from her current predicament. She was exhausted from all the work she’d done to pay for the now perished food. The thoughts of her siblings, sitting hungry at their shack, desperately waiting for her return brought her to tears.
