Chapter 60

Hera's p.o.v "So they really aren't human?" Ava asked softly. "Yes," I answered. "And the story you told me was mostly lies?" She asked. "Yes, I'm sorry," I answered. "So he is the leader of this place and you are supposed to be..." She trailed off.  "My woman," Zver answered as my heart flattered. I was upset with him, but still hearing him refer to me in such a way made me happy.  "Honey, by any chance,  are you in love with him?" She asked seriously. I bite my lower lip and slowly looked at Zver who stood looking at me seriously.  Everything was so messed up. He was now cold and very rough with me and my mother. Yet I still loved him.

Chapter 61

Hera's p.o.v  I was conscious of Zver behind me as I walked upstairs going to our bedroom.  My throat was dry and my heart was beating loudly.  Immediately I was in the room I turned facing the door waiting for him to walk in. I didn't know what I was feeling exactly but I wanted him to touch me.  Once he was in, he looked at me with a raised brow and everything seemed to just freeze in that moment. I moved in a second and tiptoed, crushing my lips on his. My hands folded his shirt as his hands went on my ass groping and squeezing roughly.  "Aahh." A breathless moan escaped me.   I pulled back slightly and moved my hands in his hair.  He was smiling down at me and looking very handsome like always has.

Chapter 62

Damon's p.o.v "Father," I called loudly immediately I stepped out of my car.  He sat on the step which lead to Ava's door with his hands pressed against his head. He looked angry and very sad for some reason and that made me concerned. "Dad, what is wrong?" I asked loudly while I moved closer to where he was. At the time I had received his phone call, I was talking to the council. His voice sounded panicked and cracky. I got very worried and immediately took off without the council excusing me. That was a form of disrespect towards them, but I cared less because my father was the most important person in my life. "Father," I called in nearly a scream to snap him out of his daze. He looked up and met my eyes. He had an angry expression plastered on his face and his eyes were fille

Chapter 63

Hera's p.o.v  I woke up with a smile on my face. The only thought I had in mind was Zver and how he had held me last night. His sexy, husky voice and rough touch. His beautiful gaze and the feel of his skin against mine. All of it was in my mind.  "I'm so lucky," I whispered under my breath then giggled loudly while I sat upright.  My smile faded when I saw the side of the bed and room empty.  Where could he have gone early in the morning? Weren't couples suppose to wake up together after spending the night in each other's embrace?.  I moved then flinched when I felt my body ache. I looked at myself and noticed a few bruises on my skin.  "Well, it did feel good." I muttered to myself then stood up and walked to the bathroom.  Immediately I turned on

Chapter 64

Zver's p.o.v "Son." Mother called softly and tenderly in the living room when I entered. I looked at her then folded my arms. "Where did Ava sleep?" I asked seriously. It wasn't what I had called her for, but I was still curious to know where Hera's mother had slept. "In the main guest room. Don't worry son, I took good care of her and made sure she was comfortable and at ease." She answered.  I could tell that she was deliberately calling me son to get a reaction from me. But I wasn't going to react in any way because I didn't mind her calling me that.  "Thank you," I whispered in a low tone then cleared my throat. "What?" She asked in disbelief. I groaned softly then sighed.

Chapter 65

Damon's p.o.v After dropping off my father's home, I wasted no time in driving back to the town council. Not only did I need to apologize for going out like that without excusing myself, I needed them to change their minds on sending off my father to a pack of Tasmanians. I stood outside the hall waiting for the doorkeeper to pass word to them that I was outside seeking an audience. I was a little nervous but mostly annoyed over my recent conversation with my father. "Hunter, You may enter." The doorkeeper announced. I gave him a nod then walked in. The council's eyes were glued on me. While the others looked very upset some looked calm.  "Damon." The female called as she stood up and approached me with a graceful posture. When she stood in front of me she lifted her hand and sma

Chapter 66

Zver's p.o.v I stood on the training field watching the warriors train In their human form, my father stood beside me looking at me seriously.  "Father, can you stop looking at me like that?" I asked softly.  "I'm sorry son, but I'm here to hear about your progress." He answered.  "Progress, what progress?.  If you are talking about the upcoming ambush the town council might be planning, know that we are well prepared, their human size is nothing compared to our Tasmanian size. Their only saving grace will be their skills and weapons." I replied.  He chuckled softly then shook his head.  "Alpha." He called in a respectful tone getting my full attention.  I turned and faced him seriously.

Chapter 68

Damon's p.o.v I looked at the weapons laid on the tables with a smile. They were exactly what we needed. "These are true beauties," I whispered then looked at my father who was staring back at me coldly. "Can you all leave us," I announced to my team in the weaponry room. They quietly walked out leaving me and my father. "What is it?" I asked seriously. "Damon, I know how hard-headed you are whenever you decide on something, but going that side will be dangerous. I fear I might even lose you, son." He said sadly. I moved closer and pat his shoulder gently. "Dad, I will be fine. If anything, those monsters should be afraid of me." I answered seriously. "Right now you are blinded by the need to kill and revenge the alpha Tasmanian

Chapter 69

Zver's p.o.v  I wasn't that kind of Tasmanian that made his bond suffer, but sadly I was becoming like that. How many times did I touch her, fuck her and make love to her?. Countless times, we went the whole night yet, I couldn't stop craving more of her. She wanted to sleep but I wasn't going to let her, not that easily. I was soon going to step aside and let Hunter take over, that alone made me embrace her even when she was begging me to stop.  "Zver, I'm tired. Please allow me to sleep." She whispered huskily in a laboured breath.   How could she think of sleeping when I was still inside of her, enjoying her wetness and tightness. She really was amazing.  "You can't sleep yet," I answered softly then moved my hips forward thrusting harder.  She cried out and quickly grabbed the sheets beneath her in her gras
