Welcome Back

(Nerina’s P.O.V)             I know that I fainted after hearing my mother basically confirm what John and William and those other guys had been saying. I just can’t believe that witches are a thing. They can’t be. I keep pondering this thought as I sit here…all alone…in the dark. Hmm maybe I should start walking and see what happens. As soon as I stand up, I fall. Not like to the ground but fall, like I’m falling through the sky but in pitch dark. I open my mouth to scream but nothing comes out, and this feels like I’ve been falling forever. Finally, I hit ground; soft beautiful green grass surrounded by beautiful flowers and a beautiful forest. I stand up, having landed on my ass, and begin to look around. Someone behind me clears their throat causing me to jump. I turn to see a beautiful woman, with russet colored skin, beautiful brown eyes, and long brown hair. She looks like a goddess! “Hello de

Back In Time

(William’s P.O.V)             To say I was stunned was an understatement when Nerina shared with us the information she had received from this Selene woman. The information she received from her, however; matched what I knew from the clairvoyant I had managed to find in America. I knew a witch had been involved and that it had involved my grandfather, but with the new information Nerina had I could finally put this to rest. We made it aboard the Bloody Hangman with no problems and I found the piece of parchment where Selene had said I would find it. “Has everyone read it thoroughly enough?” Harry asks from behind my shoulder.             There was a murmur of ascent that everyone had, in fact, read it over. It was now time to say it aloud:

Climbing the Tree

(Nerina’s P.O.V)             Aboard the Sirens Curse, we’ve split up the jobs and I’m finally inside my Captain’s quarters. A huge king sized four poster bed sits off to one side, with a sitting area with a writing desk made of beautiful walnut. The furnishings are lush and reminiscent of the age in which we are, lots of gold though. A knock on my door pulls me out of my thoughts. “Come in!” I call.             John walks in. Goddess he looks amazing in his white linen shirt with that deep-V to it that gives you a peak of his pecs. His pants are tight, and you can totally see what he’s packing, and mama is NOT disappointed whatsoever. “Hey, do you have a minute? We are going to be weighing anchor soon and I wanted to ask you something.” “Sure, what’s up John?”

Voyages in the Night

(John’s P.O.V)             Sex with Nerina was the most intense experience I’ve had thus far, and a total shock that it even happened like this. Now I’m waiting with William on the deck, for Nerina to get back from interrupting the other girls sexcapades. “I can’t believe that you allowed Corie to go off with Harry! Why didn’t you stop them?” I yell out, not being able to contain myself any longer. “How could you not control yourself with my granddaughter?” He shoots back. “Hey! She came on to me William, I just went in to talk to her and next thing I know we are having sex!” I say, trying to push the blame off me. “Oh sure, blame my granddaughter when she isn’t here to defend herself.” He hisses out.             Before I could respond, the door to the lower level opens and Nerina along with the girls, Edward, Harry, Arthur and

Siren's Song

(Nerina’s P.O.V)             After John and William left the ship, we weighed anchor and hoisted the sail for the Twice Cursed Island. Just the name alone made me nervous about what we could possibly encounter there, now that we knew that witches were a thing and that Selene, the Moon Goddess, was real. I will seriously shit my pants if werewolves were real. It really makes you question what you understand, as true/real in the world, doesn’t it? We’ve been sailing for a few hours now and, to be completely honest, we are so. Fucking. Bored. “Can I please just light off ONE cannon?” Nikita whines. “No! You could kill a whale or something!” Corie yells. “I promise I won’t kill Shamu!” Kita whines back to Corie. “I swear on the Goddess that I will throw you both overboard if you don’t shut up.” I say through gritted teeth. “I just want to light off a cannon Ne, please!?” Kita gives pup

Twice Cursed Island

(Nerina’s P.O.V) “So, you didn’t actually kidnap him?” Anne asks. “For the love of Zeus, NO I didn’t kidnap him!” Calypso snaps. “Okay, well all of that is lovely we need to get to Twice Cursed Island. Please.” I say politely. “No.” Raine says. “No? What do you mean ‘no’?” Lizzie asks, incredulously. “These are free waters; we can sail anywhere we like. Plus, we need to get there before we run out of time. Selene, the Moon Goddess, told us we had three days before the curse would remain forever permanent.” I plead. “Oh, for fucks sake! SELENE! Get your ass down here!” Calypso yells to the sky.             We hear a feminine giggle coming from above us, and Selene suddenly appears on the deck of the ship with a wide smile. “Well hello Calypso. How lovely to see you again after so long.” Selene glides over to embrace Calypso. “Nuh uhh! Not today woman!

Twice Cursed Island, Part 2

(Nerina’s P.O.V)             As the sun was beginning to set, Calypso tells us to drop anchor and get into our lifeboat to row the rest of the way to the island. We’ve seen William’s ship and they are not far behind us at this point. We row to the island as William’s ship comes to stop and drop anchor next to ours. I’m anxious to see how this meeting will go between the sirens and William once he finds out what his grandfather did. We finally make landfall and push the rowboat up onto the beach to keep the tide from grabbing it, and we walk with Calypso and the sirens up to the tree line. “How big is the island?” I ask. “You can walk around the island in a matter of 15 or 20 minutes, but the forest is dense and difficult to move through. We are also not the only creatures on this island, and it is best that they are left alone.” Raine says. “What other creatures?” Ashe asks, still in awe that what

Undead Guardians

(William’s P.O.V)             As we scoured the right side of the island, the ladies having taken the left side/middle of the island, we were all lost in our own thoughts. Thoughts of how the curse will end, what will happen to us, what our next steps will be. I knew that after lifting the curse, I would join my beautiful Charlotte. I couldn’t live this life without her and knowing that she was killed so brutally, makes my heart ache for the fact that I wasn’t there to save her or protect her. We’ve been searching for hours when the weather suddenly shifts clouds cover the sky, the wind picks up, and the rain begins to fall. A siren, by the name of Pearl, was running out of the tree line towards us. “They found the treasure!” She calls over the storm.             We all run to where she’s standing and follow her back to where the girls are, and what w

Bastard Grandfather

(Nerina’s P.O.V)             It seems like the battle has stopped, we are all battered and bloodied from the blows that were exchanged. We’ve wiped out most of these weird zombie things, when William is facing off with one who seems to recognize him and that is when I hear him yell. “GREYBEARD!”             So that’s my bastard grandfather. Being undead suits him, he should really stay that way. William is matching him blow-for-blow, landing as many hits as he is taking until Grandfather Bastard slices into his shoulder. No! “NO!” I scream and begin running pell-mell towards the duelers.             William will NOT die like this; my grandfather will NOT die. It’s been hard for me to call him grandfather because it’s just been too weird of a situation to wrap my brain around but no

Decisions--Split Chapter

(John’s P.O.V)             This couldn’t be real; I had the chance to choose what I had been wanting; to go back to my old life that I had been dreaming about since our time travel. Though now, I’m beginning to second guess that desire. Nerina, is making me second guess that desire. Will I be able to make her happy for the rest of her life? Or will this be a fling that ends after she goes back to wherever she lives? We know nothing about each other but all I can say is that I am drawn to her in a way that I have never experienced in my 215 years on this Earth. “Nerina, I do have something I need to tell you. You as well William, it’s about Charlotte.” Selene states, pulling me from my thoughts. “What about my Charlotte?” William whispers, looking desperately at Selene. “She was a hybrid of my people. She was part human part sea nymph; her parents were fated mates.” “So, does that make me a
