"Are you girls telling me anything? I heard him, your wolf is weak. Did you get the reason? And your magic! Is it working?" I asked, shoving the last bite of my cake.       They exchanged looks. Perhaps, they are deciding whether they should tell me or not? I can understand I'm new here. They don't wanna trust me with their secrets.       Elizabeth placed her hand over mine, "It's cursed," She said in a low whisper.       I swallowed hard the last gulp, "What do you mean? Cursed? It doesn't sound good to me." A cold chill slithered down my spine.      "We don't know," Silver shrugged, "But we'll know soon," She smiled in hope.       "Hm, what's next?" I asked.       "You're not allowed with us," Elizabeth said.       "Not happe

"Ceremony," I repeated the word. I was wishing my friends to be here. So they could help me. I was confused about my dress. There was only one creamy dress with leaves and pink flowers printed over it. This would be best. I looked at my reflection in the mirror and put the dress in front of my body. I nodded in approval and twirled away.       Peeling off the towel, I put on the dress. I brushed my hair and braided the front hair, loose strands brushed my cheeks. I didn't buy any makeup, but I have a pink gloss in my purse. I applied it and looked at myself again.       I shook my head. I should go alone, not with him. I shouldn't go with him, so simple.     I have nothing to present to them. I should make an excuse not to attend it. I rubbed my temple.      A tear of

I forced my smile to remain in place. His knuckles were white gripping the steering wheel. His face was masked but his eyes were flashing fire and sometimes, it turned normal forest green. His jaw was tense.       He promised to talk to me later. After seeing his sour mood. I have changed my mind.       I eyed him closely, keeping my expression neutral, though my heart was slamming against my chest. I wasn't trying to hide it as his wolf could hear it easily, without making any effort.        He drew his brows as he looked at me. The question was over the tip of his tongue.       "It's too late. The Headmaster won't punish me," I said.       His lips twitched as the corners of his lips curled up, "I've already informed him. You're with me. You don't need to worry." His smile washed away some o

I cast a hard look at the cafeteria's door. The sandwiches he asked Rhetti to pack for me were still placed inside my backpack. It was lunchtime. He should be here at any time.        I saw Samantha's friends giving me a hateful look but their smiles were saying something else. But Samantha wasn't around her group. That didn't happen rarely too.              'She will be with him.' The voice inside me spoke, full of annoyance.       The bell rang, announcing the end of lunch break. Deep loneliness had steadily crept up on me. I shouldn't be bothered about him. How could he be so cruel? He's known for his cruelty. Doesn't he? He kissed me twice, he was hanging out with her. There are a lot of shifters. They could find her sister better than him with their experience.

My smile was lazy and languid when I darted my eyes and I saw him cuddling me. It was the best morning. His arm was locked around my middle, his face buried in the crook of my neck. He was looking so cute with his hair falling over his forehead.        He inhaled deeply. The moment I knew he wasn't sleeping, "You should sleep somewhere else?" I couldn't pull back the smile stretching over my face. First, I could not sleep, then I didn't remember anything after closing her eyes.        He opened his eyes, his smile sent waves of relief in my body. Emotions rushed through me. He splayed his hand on my lower back, pushing me to his chest, "Good morning, mon amour," He brushed his lips on my cheek.        "Dastien," I stared at him.        He laughed, running his hand through his hair. His

I was waiting for Max and Grace. I haven't seen them since Dastien ordered him to meet with his father. I didn't want them in any trouble because of me. I had looked at every coming face in the cafeteria.        "Hi," Suddenly Silver's voice came from behind me. Pulling me out of my thoughts.       My head jerked to the door. Silver and Elizabeth were coming toward me, holding a broad smile, looking relieved. I jumped out of my seat and rushed at them. My eyes brimmed with tears. I missed them.        I hugged them. They curled their arms around me. I felt warm. Hot tears rolled down my skin.         "How are you doing?" Elizabeth asked softly, yet her tone indicated his worry.        They glanced at my face when I pulled b

"You're weak. We will go some other day," Silver said. Worry covered her face.       ' Why does it happen to me when I want to leave the academy? It feels academy is my safe shell or it's Dastien. '       "Please," I needed to see if Max was fine." I said.        "You don't need to be so stubborn." He laid me on the passenger seat.        I tried to move myself. My body felt in pain as I was beaten badly. I pushed myself in a sitting position.    ' Am I cursed?' I kept the question to myself.        "Dastien, I wanna..." Sadness was expressive from my features.        "We'll go tomorrow, promise." Elizabeth smiled down at him.        "I'm seriously not going to talk to

He interlocked our fingers. My stomach churned, I couldn't help but grin. I remembered the time when I saw him. I never considered him to be so close to me, my mate.       I squinted at him. His easy smile settled peace within me. The fear I felt about the transaction washed away. I could deal with anything with him. I had felt something from him from the start when I saw him in Wolf form first, like I had known him forever, it didn't make sense at first, but now I knew. Mate!       "And you hungry? We can go out for dinner." He smiled.       A deeper sense of calm washed through me, "Dinner?"        "We can cook at home." He suggested.        I halted to look at him, "I really wanted to go out tod

Elizabeth flashed me a tight smile. The dinner was amazing. I was in love with their cooking skills, "You can stay with us," She said.         "I say the same thing." I flashed a full smile.       "I'm going out with Alex. Mr Wolfe is back. So he can break the rules again." Silver blinked at us.        I arched my brows. Suddenly, I felt uneasy in my own skin. my skin felt like there was something under it, something pulsing with a life of its own. Dastien was right behind me. I could smell him, his scent was like wood, fresh air after rain in the forest. Small sparks of electricity skated across my skin where he was flush against mine. My odd feelings changed into something romantic.        "You okay?" The deep, gravelly sound of his voice sent a shiver through me. &nbs

It became awfully quiet, my breathing stuck in my throat. Tears began to run down my cheeks. I tightened my arms around her as she stumbled. My legs felt weak. Fear of losing her strangled me, "You can't die. Please." My voice shook in fear.       Elizabeth shifted into a dark grey wolf and launched herself at Samantha.      Samantha was looking at us with big eyes, horror clung to her features. The gun fell from her hands, "I'm sorry, Silver." Samantha squealed. Her body was shaking terribly.       Elizabeth pounced at her, pinning her down.       "Silver," My voice cracked. I placed her head on my lap.       I brushed my hand over her cheeks to tuck the hair away. Blood was oozing from the side of her waist. I pressed my hand on the wound.       "
