Adam I called a meeting in the evening. Kyle told me the visitors had settled in well. Desiree promised to be nicer at her next meeting. I had threatened to punish her the next time she allowed her emotions to get the best of her. Thinking of it now, I realised it wasn't a good threat because the kind of punishment I had in mind was pleasure-filled, and I could see Desiree being naughty for that purpose. Desiree I could feel Adam's fear and Desperation. He remained on his knees and held me. I could not believe he would belittle himself like this, but the way he had reacted scared me. All I could see was Rob and my mother again. I couldn't process it. Adam was so angry that he wasn't listening to me. What if something worse happens?
