Kane's POV “Papa!” Adare squeals. “Way up.” My first thought is that I must be dreaming. It’s the only rational explanation. My son isn’t here, and the way this war is dragging on, he may never come home again. But then a heavy weight lands on my chest, nearly knocking my wind out and waking me with a wild thud. “Papa. Ada ho-.” My eyes fly open and I stare straight into my boy’s sweet little face and blue eyes that look so much like mine.
