"I wonder what you were thinking that made you smile so beautifully." A voice from my back came, and I had to stop and think for a moment if I knew that voice, but I didn't. I slowly turned around to check if he was speaking to me and found myself looking at a blonde-haired male that I'd never seen before. "Excuse me?" My brow was hiking up as I asked the man who was obviously staring at me. I already have a notion of who he was. "Sorry, I just got starstruck," he said, smiling sheepishly, making my brow hike higher. "Dominic, Beta from the Silver Moon Pack." He offered his hand for a handshake leaving me with no choice but to take it. "Lady Janna, right?" I smiled as I nodded my head, pulling my hand away. "You probably don't remember me, but I was here at Alpha Jacob's birthday gala. I'm Alpha Riley's Beta." I just kept nodding because I had no idea what to say to him. And the fact that I knew what he wanted from me. "The pack that is where Jenny now." "Oh!" That I didn't know.

JANNA Aaron didn't join us for dinner. He ate dinner together with his warriors and I was okay with that. I didn't like the idea of seating beside him and pretending that there was nothing going on between us especially with Andrea around. I haven't gone on the full Aaron-Andrea thing yet with Aaron, and I was planning to do it later. I just wanted it off my chest because, as much as I trusted Aaron, his past and what I went through with Michael were enough reasons for me to doubt if someone would ever take me seriously. AARON Janna's hand was tightly clasped against mine while it rested on her thigh as we drove out of the territory towards the city. Beta Dominic was in a car behind us. And, as much as the Beta insisted on riding in the same car as me and Janna, the Alpha put his foot down and told the Beta that if he didn't follow his rules, he could forget having lunch with Janna. Well, Alpha Jake just slipped back onto my list of good people. I met the Alpha early this morning, demanding an explanation for allowing Janna to have lunch with Dominic, and I got more answers than I was asking for. JANNA I sat in front of Aaron just to make sure he kept his hands off me while we were in public. The last thing I wanted was for us to draw attention, even though I badly wanted to hug him already. I was scanning the menu when a female approached us, ready to take our orders. "Hi!" She said this in a very friendly voice. "What are we having today?" "Hi!" I replied without taking my eyes off the menu and started reading my order. "I'll have a grilled burger with barbecue sauce and fries. And then strawberry milkshake." Once I was done, I lifted my head to look at her and found a tall, blond female smiling seductively at Aaron. My eyes squinted before I slowly looked at Aaron in front of me. He was staring at the menu, but I could feel that he was anxious. His ears were starting to turn red. "Did you hear what I said?" I asked the female in a sarcastic tone. She tilted her head towards me before giving me a fake smile, "Yes pup, a grilled burger with barbecue sauce, fries, and
