Uncle Zane walks into the formal dining room and shakes his head at the seven of us sitting around the table. “How are your studies coming along?” He asks. We all mumble a “Good" and continue are various work. “The Mate Ball is coming up in a few weeks. I take that since you all have found your mates, you won’t be going,” he says.
