Cheyenne’s POV I woke up the morning feeling sore down there, but still completely refreshed. I laid on Gunner’s chest and listened to his heartbeat. I never thought in a million years that the sound of a simple heartbeat would calm me so much. I sat up and stretched out and then tried to wake Gunner, but there was no response.
